Chapter 8 - It's Too Big!

After speaking, Furina also came to understand through their shared gaze that both Hinata and Lint had reincarnated into the world of Naruto. Lint had spent ten years as an orphan, while Hinata had become a prodigy of the Hyūga clan.

But of course, that wasn't the key point.

The truly crucial thing was—after the two got close to one another, Hinata's Byakugan, as well as her chakra, surged in strength. At the same time, Lint also gained chakra… and even the Byakugan.

Even more astonishingly, the growth didn't stop there. It kept going as time passed.

This discovery made Furina's heart leap with excitement. She saw it—the possibility of gaining power! The hope of transcending mortality and becoming a true Hydro Archon!

Furina's thrill, along with her yearning for strength, was quickly transmitted through emotional resonance to both Lint and Hinata.

Hinata couldn't help asking, "You want to get stronger? You want to gain chakra from me?"

Furina put on a pitiful expression. "Is that not allowed?"

"Of course it is. Come hug me," Hinata replied, then turned her head toward Lint. "You too. Let's all stay together."

"Alright."

Lint nodded.

The three of them moved close and embraced one another.

Furina didn't resist it at all.

After all, she had now learned that Lint's appearance wasn't some disguise—this really was the reincarnated version of the original Lint.

From the soul's essence, he was simply another version of herself in male form.

And if that's the case… what's wrong with hugging herself?

At the moment, Furina was holding the five-year-old Hinata like a mother holding her child, while Lint was behind her, hugging her from the back.

It looked like a warm little family of three.

But that wholesome atmosphere was quickly shattered by Furina herself. Her face turned bright red, her ears flushed, and the ahoge on her head nearly sprang straight out of her hat.

The reason was simple—she'd noticed Hinata's little movements. The girl had rested her head against Furina's chest… and at that close distance, Furina could clearly sense Hinata's emotional thoughts.

So flat. It's all bone…

Furina's… really small. Probably an A cup at most.

She's been the Hydro Archon of Fontaine for ten years and still hasn't grown. No big chest at all.

But I, Hyūga Hinata, will be different. With ten years of full meals and proper care, I'll grow even better than the original Hinata from the story.

Furina, now fully red-faced from embarrassment, couldn't help but blurt out, "I may have been the Hydro Archon for ten years, but I was chosen by the mirror image of myself—Focalors—at the moment I was born. Technically, I'm only ten years old. I haven't fully matured yet!"

"Heh."

Hinata let out a small snort and said, "My dear other self—Furina, don't try to deny it. According to our memories of playing Genshin Impact in our past life, even 490 years later, you still haven't grown at all. Your chest will never develop beyond this point."

Furina opened her mouth, trying to argue, but no words came out. Her face just grew redder and redder, her embarrassment reaching a boiling point.

And right then, Lint—who was hugging Furina around the waist—spoke up. "It's fine. Small is cute too. I like it."

Furina paused for a moment, a little stunned. Not because of Lint's bold declaration, but because she noticed something—the moment he said that, Lint's breathing grew heavier…

Furina's body gave a faint shudder, and after a pause, she quietly muttered,

"You're… reacting down there."

"I can't help it. Observing the ideal, untainted embodiment of justice—Hydro Archon Furina—at this close range… of course I'd have a reaction. I'm a man, after all."

Hearing Lint's straightforward reply, Furina turned so red her neck flushed. Clearly, she was absolutely mortified. And then, as if struck by a sudden realization, she said,

"You were just calling me a pure human a moment ago. Now it's 'Lord Furina'? You're awfully fickle."

"Men are all fickle."

With that, Lint leaned in and blew gently against Furina's ear.

"You little—"

Furina, overwhelmed by it all, showed a mix of embarrassment and indignation on her delicate face. She started stamping her feet.

Meanwhile, little Hinata—still cradled in Furina's arms—spoke up, sensing something.

"Furina, I think I can feel it. Your body… is reacting too."

"But that makes sense," she continued, her tone calm and analytical. "Even if you're the Hydro Archon of Fontaine, you only represent the human aspect of Focalors. Your physical body is still mortal.Under these conditions, of course you'd have a reaction."

"…"

Furina had no rebuttal. Her cheeks only burned hotter.

At that point, Lint realized that Furina was probably near her limit. If he pushed her any further, she'd probably start swinging her tiny fists at him. So he changed the subject.

"How do you feel now, Furina? Has your body changed in any way?"

Furina caught the cue and eagerly took the chance to redirect her thoughts. She quickly closed her eyes and focused on sensing her physical condition.

But by doing so, the pressure from behind—what she was being pressed against—became even more noticeable.

It's too big!Lint, this guy—ever since he realized that I'm a reincarnated piece of his own soul and sensed I don't reject his feelings—he's stopped holding back at all!

Furina gritted her teeth and forced herself to stay focused.

Breathe. Clear your thoughts… concentrate.

Before long, she felt it—her physical strength had increased significantly. But aside from that, she hadn't gained any chakra.

After confirming her condition, Furina opened her eyes and reported her findings.

"So only your body grew stronger? No chakra gain?" Lint pondered for a moment. "That's exactly how it was for me at first. Try cultivating the chakra condensation technique. I only gained chakra after practicing it myself."

Hearing that, Furina gently set little Hinata down and immediately pulled away from Lint, covering her backside with both hands.

"Go ahead and try cultivating it," Lint said seriously. "I won't mess around this time. Everyone knows—I'm a proper person when it's time to be serious."

"Hmph. I know that."

With a soft snort, Furina sat cross-legged in the Hall of Chaos and began meditating.

However, after several minutes, there was still no sign of chakra forming within her.

Lint kept his Byakugan active, watching Furina's internal changes closely. Seeing that there was still no progress, he frowned slightly.

"That's strange. With our talents synchronized, Furina should've been able to get results quickly."

Just then, Hinata seemed to remember something.

"Maybe it's because she's not from the Naruto world," she said. "She doesn't have 130 trillion cells in her body. She's a Fontaine human, created from the purest water spirit—Focalors. Her body might not be able to extract chakra from her cells."

Lint's brows furrowed even more. "So… Furina came here full of hope, but she's going to leave disappointed?"

He genuinely wanted to see Furina grow stronger—after all, no matter how you looked at it, she was another part of himself.

And right then, Hinata—who had been silently observing Furina's internal condition—spoke again.

"She won't go back disappointed. Lint, look closely at the chakra technique running inside her. The flow of energy has already undergone a subtle, automatic adjustment. It seems like… the technique isn't cultivating chakra anymore, but a different kind of energy."

Lint's eyes widened. "You mean, after Furina practiced the chakra method, it naturally evolved into a technique for cultivating elemental energy?"

Hinata gave a small nod. "Something like that."

She can't absorb elemental energy now because there's no leyline from Teyvat here. But once she returns to Teyvat… she might be able to cultivate elemental power. She might even gain a Vision!
