"World of Elysium, huh?" Ethan murmured softly.
The words left his lips as he looked out over the unfamiliar landscape. The sky above him shimmered with a faint silver glow, as if countless invisible threads were woven through the air. Mountains rose in the far distance like ancient guardians, and forests stretched endlessly across the horizon. Everything felt stable. Too stable.
Ethan could feel it immediately.
The space of this world was heavy.
"Yumiko," he called calmly, "have you connected with the system of this world?"
There was a brief pause before the familiar voice echoed inside his mind.
[No, Master. I cannot connect to it yet.]
Ethan frowned slightly.
"Why not?"
[The system of this world runs on the Broken Law of Infinity. However, the scale of that system is far beyond my current authority. It is actively blocking me from forming any kind of contract with it.]
Ethan's brows knitted together.
"What do you mean?"
