Silently I run through the dampened as I approached the destination left in the directions I was left. The rain obscuring most of my vision I slowly make it to a forest giving plenty of cover as I continue my journey eventually reaching a cliff overlooking the city. Setting up my equipment I wait for the Blood Rose Ceremony to commence. The Ceremony was created in order to pay respects to the goddess Aquene who was known for saving humanity once again by sacrificing herself to provide mortals shelter from a storm even the gods couldn't prevent. Aquene was the goddess of life, death, and peace so oftentimes she is rumored to be the reincarnated goddess Shivani of the Sun, Life, and Death as well as The Fallen Angel of Death Azazel from ancient times around 530 BC(BCE) to 70 AD(CE). Each time one of them was said to die a few centuries later a similar figure would arrive standing in their place. Of course all of that ended in the year 4293 when the world was in its most prosperous times. Now instead of the otherworldly ideas that were created in the past the earth is dark and on the verge of destruction yet people are delusional and act like everything is fine.
Noticing that the Ceremony started I get in position and lay low ready to aim and shoot at any second. As the people walked around happily and say their prayers I searched for the targets that I was assigned knowing that the order and place of death must be quick and far from the others. After locking both of their positions down I carefully slide 2 Solo 7 Bullets and aim them at the first at the person who arranged the Ceremony and pull the trigger watching it fly quickly and instantly land in his throat and explode from the impact. Smiling unfazed yet amused from the chaos, I turn the advanced sniper to the random person listed and shooting not even a second later, watching almost the exact scene unfold before putting my stuff away and trashing the stuff with any DNA on it.
"Now, time to report back and find out that information I requested in exchange for this stupid job." I say annoyed before walking back the way I came.
