Shadowwind's beast spread its wings and a blast of wind came out of it. The winds shot forward with a howling shockwave. Blasts of wind blades spun in it and sliced through the walls, cutting them up as the wind blades curled around.
Vacuse stared at the power.
Stones rumbled and fell, creating a great dust bellow that Shadowwind shoved away with twisting winds.
Captain Yemi stood atop the pile of stones, looking up at him with a flat expression.
Shadowwind snorted. "Why create walls? I have no intention of running. I have already decided that you will die. And so you will."
Yemi didn't say anything. He crouched, his legs swelling, and then he burst forward like lightning. The stones he was standing on turned to dust instantly.
He was so fast that Vacuse could barely keep his eyes on him. He could only follow the string of afterimages he left behind.
Bam!
He slammed into Shadowwind's beast and they went hurling into the sky.
