Inside the Shinigami's space, the moment Hiroki unleashed the Dead Demon Consuming Seal, the Shinigami sensed it. He felt extremely puzzled and deeply confused.
"Strange, who could it be?"
"I haven't formed any contracts with humans..."
"Oh well, I'll send a clone to check it out."
After murmuring for a while, he focused his mind, and immediately created a clone of himself.
At the location where Hiroki and others stood.
Suddenly, streams of smoke rose from Hiroki's body, forming a huge ghostly figure behind him.
Wide white robes, fluffy and coarse white hair, legs growing out of its head, a hideous face, purplish-blue skin.
"What the heck is this?" Hayato and Hamura looked up in astonishment at this ghostly figure of the Shinigami.
Kaguya watched this figure with keen interest.
When the Shinigami ghost opened its eyes, it found itself locked in a gaze with those curious onlookers.
Circular eyes, blue irises, purely white pupils—all sequentially entered its vision. It hesitated briefly, somewhat stunned.
Who even are these people?
Hayato blinked strangely with his eyes.
The Shinigami ghost looked down at Hiroki, then glanced again at the others' expressions, gradually developing an ominous feeling.
This isn't good—they're definitely not normal people!
Before even two seconds of silence had passed, before Hiroki could speak, the ghost instantly dissipated, disappearing right in front of them.
I'm outta here!
Hayato and the other person were stunned again, "What just happened? What's going on?"
They cast puzzled glances at Hiroki, who simply smirked and gave Kaguya a knowing look.
Kaguya nodded slightly in understanding.
[Yomi Otsutsuki Teleportation.] A black portal appeared before them all.
Where there's a path, there's a mark left behind — and now, there's no escape.
"Let's go!"
Saying that to the others, Kaguya stepped directly into the portal.
Hiroki was the next one to enter.
Hayato and Hamura exchanged glances; despite still being clueless about what was happening, they chose to follow.
"How can there be a living person here!" The Shinigami's expression changed slightly.
Almost simultaneously, the four of them appeared in this place.
In this dim space, colorful spirits floated everywhere like fireflies in the dark night.
As they reached their hands out, those spirits swiftly pierced through their bodies.
"...So many people have already died?" Hiroki murmured softly.
"What are all these things?" Hayato and his companion were greatly shocked, looking around in confusion and asking.
"These are souls of the dead," Hiroki replied.
Suddenly, the air turned colder.
A five-meter-tall white figure hovered in midair, appearing before them.
The moment it arrived, those floating spirits seemed to find their backbone, rushing into its body one by one.
The Shinigami's face flickered between light and shadow as he stared at them coldly. "Who are you people?"
"You're the Shinigami?" Hiroki asked in return. "Is this place called the Pure Land?"
Beside him, Kaguya was already ready for battle.
Hayato and Hamura remained alert as well.
The Shinigami frowned without speaking, temporarily unable to gauge their strength.
"Shall we attack?" Kaguya looked at Hiroki.
Shinigami chuckled coldly, seemingly unconcerned about their resorting to force.
He asked, "Who do you belong to?"
"You don't recognize us at all?" Hamura interjected.
He found it strange—this so-called deity hadn't even been paying attention to what had happened outside?
"What difference does it make whether I know or not? You're just fairy trash and beasts, choosing to come here and meet your doom."
"Bragging!" Kaguya scoffed. "The one who looks most like a monster right now seems to be you!"
Hayato and Hamura were also displeased at being called 'fairy trash and beasts.' They clearly sensed the killing intent in Shinigami's words. With nothing else on their minds, they simply waited for Hiroki or Kaguya's command to begin fighting.
"Hold on now," Hiroki said casually.
Though unsure where Shinigami's confidence stemmed from, he believed the four of them together could hold their ground in battle.
"There was someone called Shuushi outside who started wars. My guess is that his purpose was probably to send more souls into this place..."
Shinigami listened impatiently before interrupting with a mocking laugh, "Nonsense! I am a true deity—I don't need to stoop to such despicable tactics."
"Now, you may all die!"
His voice turned icy beyond measure. Before he even finished speaking, his figure suddenly vanished without warning, disappearing right before their eyes.
Immediately afterward, loud cracking sounds echoed repeatedly, and the ground began shaking violently.
What they stood upon seemed as though it had transformed into something flowing like a carpet.
"This place is contracting!" One hand grabbed Hiroki's arm as Kaguya's expression grew serious. Hamura and Hayato slowly moved closer to the two.
Looking upward, Hamura's face darkened. "Visibility's dropping fast."
...
Outside.
In a quiet forest, a tall white figure appeared silently.
Accompanying him was an enormous spherical object.
Shinigami stood beneath the sphere, its top completely blocking out light from above.
A trace of satisfaction flickered across his face. "Hmph, no big deal after all!"
Clearly visible, the giant orb was rapidly shrinking at an incredible speed.
Since this so-called Another Dimension was a sealed space, extracting it entirely—as easily as lifting up an entire house—was entirely possible.
He had lived inside it for countless years; such feats had long become second nature to him.
Effortless, like wielding a weapon whose size could expand or contract at will, or like holding stars in one's palm.
Then came several sharp *peng peng peng* impacts. He looked up, and within less than two seconds, the colossal sphere had already shrunk down to the size of a basketball.
A satisfied smile surfaced on his face. He flew skyward, catching it gently in his hands.
On the black sphere's surface, there wasn't even a single mark left.
The impact sounds lasted briefly before vanishing quickly, leaving behind complete silence.
He let out a sharp click with his tongue and murmured, "Are they all dead…? If it weren't for the risk of an unexpected twist, I'd have taken your souls too…"
Just then—
[Chaotic Spin: Golden Wheel Reincarnation Explosion!]
[Golden Wheel Reincarnation Explosion!]
The two Chakra energies appeared almost simultaneously. The first was a blend of blue and green – a mixture of Tenseigan Chakra and Sage Chakra. The second was pure green, belonging to Hamura.
Shinigami barely saw two beams of light flash before his eyes when "BOOM" echoed, like the sudden popping of a tightly sealed container. The sphere in his hand exploded violently.
Looking down, he felt no pain, yet his body had already been severed in half.
"A voice called out suddenly: 'Are you still okay like this?'"
Hiroki and the other four appeared in unison.
Working together with Hamura, Hiroki successfully unleashed his [Golden Wheel Reincarnation Explosion], and Hamura's face lit up with excitement.
"Although you're a god, you don't know everything either," Hiroki said mockingly while looking at the Shinigami whose body was reconstituting itself.
If the Shinigami knew even a little about Kaguya's Space-Time Ninjutsu, he wouldn't have thought that merely compressing space to its extreme limits could kill them.
They could use Space-Time Ninjutsu to appear and vanish from any location at will, while the Shinigami had simply assumed they would just sit there waiting to die.
"Now that your hideout is gone, where do you plan on running to?"
