I lay vulnerable on the dining table, my silk robe open and my body exposed to Alaric's hungry gaze. His question hung in the air between us, both thrilling and terrifying me.
"Tell me about your fantasies, Isabella," he demanded, his voice deep and commanding. "What secret desires have you been keeping from me?"
