The game hunt soon began and each and everyone was assigned a partner. Unfortunately, Patricia didn't get to see her best friend before the hunt started, but Syres told her she was partnered with the Orlandos' first son. Prior to the game hunt, Roman gave her an update of the names of the families on board. They included: The Blackthorns, The Carters, The Orlandos, The Graymoors, The Thornwells, and the Iron Hart.
Having to memorize their names one by one was beyond her, but if she remembered clearly, the first son of the Orlandos looked like a decent man.
"She would be fine," Syres assured, jolting her out of her thoughts as he stretched out his hands for her to retrieve.
Looking down at his hands, she shook her head and helped herself cross over a fallen tree, ignoring him like he wasn't with her.
"For how long will you ignore me?" Syres asked, smiling as he picked up her pace.
