Chapter 27 - Chapter 27: Whispers of Devotion, Shadows of Power

Gazing at Bai Su Mei's bare form, Lan An met her pure, saintly eyes. No trace of desire stirred within him—only a warm, familial affection bloomed in his heart.

Stroking her silken white hair, he smiled tenderly. "Have you lived in Shan Mu Forest since you were young?"

Bai Su Mei's eyes flickered, pondering. She shook her head slightly, her voice soft. "I only recall living there since I gained awareness. Whether from birth, I'm unsure."

Lan An's heart ached, his fingers gently caressing her smooth cheek. "From now on, I'll take you across the world, to conquer this realm together."

"Yes, I'll follow anywhere, as long as you're there, my Master," she murmured, nestling against his firm chest, eyes closing in contentment.

Silence spoke louder than words.

Their hearts beat as one. Suddenly, Bai Su Mei looked up, her innocent eyes curious. "Something's poking me."

Before Lan An could respond, her delicate hand slipped beneath his robes, grasping the heated, rigid length, exploring it with curious strokes.

Lan An drew a sharp breath, a wave of pleasure washing over him. Yet, seeing her pure expression, he quelled his urges, vowing to guide her gently in time. Her sanctity made him hesitate to act.

"Want to see it?" he asked, his voice warm, brushing her cloud-like hair.

"Mm, it feels intriguing," she replied, her hand still beneath his robes, her tone guileless.

Her adorable curiosity softened him. A formidable, pulsing length emerged, its veins faintly fierce, cradled in her hand.

"What is it?" Bai Su Mei blushed, her white lashes trembling. The raw masculine aura made her heart race.

"My treasure—and yours," Lan An teased, a playful glint in his eyes.

"My treasure?" Her eyes sparkled, blinking.

"Exactly. Just as this is my treasure," he said mischievously, his hand grazing the snowy mound below her waist, tenderly stroking.

"Mm… ah… is it for mating?" Her body quivered, a soft moan escaping, nearly making Lan An choke.

He chuckled wryly, nodding. "Yes, to create little serpents with you."

Her eyes widened, cheeks blooming like ripe peaches. Despite her innocence, she grasped his meaning, her lips parting shyly. "Yes."

Her charm was irresistible. Lan An leaned in, capturing her lush, rosy lips in a gentle kiss.

"Mm… mm…"

Their lips met with soft, wet sounds. Her mouth was fragrant, pliant as velvet. Lan An savored her upper lip, then her lower, drawing soft tremors from her. Bai Su Mei's full curves heaved with each breath, yielding to his tender exploration.

"Like it?" he asked, noting her flushed cheeks and slightly swollen lips, her saintly face now rosy.

"What was that? It felt magical," she said, her damp tongue tracing her lips, craving the sensation that stirred her soul.

"It's a kiss, a beautiful way to show affection," Lan An explained.

"A kiss? I love your kisses, my Master," she said, her breath like orchids, her words earnest.

"There's another kind of kiss. Want to try?" He wrapped her slender waist, their foreheads touching, his whisper intimate.

"Show me!" She pouted, tilting her head expectantly.

"Stick out your little tongue," he said, gazing at her waiting lips.

She parted her petal-like lips, revealing pearly teeth and a glistening pink tongue, sweet as nectar.

Lan An leaned in, capturing it.

Slurp, slurp.

Their tongues entwined like dancing serpents, exchanging sweet essence. Lan An claimed her tongue with gentle dominance, savoring her nectar until she melted into him.

"Mm… mm…" Bai Su Mei moaned faintly, thrilled that her Master cherished her.

After a lingering moment, they parted. Her eyes fluttered, half-closed in bliss, a faint trickle glistening below. Lan An knew it was time to pause, lest he lose control.

Wiping a bead of moisture from her lips, he soothed, "Stabilize your realm first. We have all the time in the world."

Bai Su Mei, though reluctant to end their kiss, nodded. Newly transformed, her cultivation had surged to Late-Stage Third-Tier beast, equivalent to Late-Stage Golden Core, rivaling Lan An's own. She needed brief seclusion to solidify her realm.

As she sat cross-legged, bare and serene, Lan An resolved to buy her clothes.

Keng, Lucky Shop refreshed.

The System's prompt reminded him a day had passed since the upgrade, bringing new shop items.

Opening the shop, he found yesterday's items replaced:

Lower Mysterious-Grade Skill:

One Yang Finger – 500 Prestige Points

Minor Step Talisman – 300 Prestige Points

Supreme Mysterious-Grade Robe: Immortal Lovers' Fate Robes – 1200 Prestige Points

Lower Earth-Grade Movement Art: Instant Shadow Step – 1800 Prestige Points

Upper Earth-Grade Weapon: Star-Silver Twin Swords – 3000 Prestige Points

Current Prestige Points: 5120

Two items caught his eye. He inspected their details:

Immortal Lovers' Fate Robes: White robes for a man and woman, ethereal for her, dashing for him. Auto-adjusts to fit, offers moderate defense.

Star-Silver Twin Swords: Forged from Fourth-Tier Silver Star Stone, a paired set ideal for Star-Element cultivators.

Lan An's eyes gleamed. These seemed tailor-made for them. Needing attire for Su Mei, the couple's robes were perfect, and the swords suited her star-like essence.

No expense was too great for his beloved. He purchased both.

Keng, acquired Immortal Lovers' Fate Robes.

Keng, acquired Star-Silver Twin Swords. Stored in System space.

"Retrieve them," Lan An commanded. Two robes and twin swords appeared.

The men's robe was gallant yet suave, the women's elegant and otherworldly, perfectly balanced. Even Lan An, fond of black, donned the men's robe, its fit seamless, nodding in approval.

The swords were identical, light and agile, their blades faintly glowing. One hilt bore "Star," the other "Silver," delicate floral engravings marking them as feminine masterpieces.

Satisfied, Lan An noted his Prestige Points had dwindled to 920. Worth it, he grinned, vowing to earn more.

He placed the women's robe and swords beside Bai Su Mei, kissing her forehead softly before exiting the Spirit Blossom Orb.

Back in his lavish 50-square-meter room, Lan An surveyed the space. A massive, fragrant bed could fit ten, the floor gleamed with precious jade, and crystal chandeliers sparkled overhead. The spiritual energy was twice as dense, thanks to a spirit-gathering array.

"I should furnish the Spirit Blossom Orb," he mused. Though rarely used, it was his mobile home, too barren as is.

"I'll have Chen Jiang source some upscale furniture tomorrow," he decided, opening the System.

Noting the Instant Shadow Step in the Lucky Shop, he dismissed it. "Summon the random Spirit-Grade movement art," he ordered, eager to use the Upgrade Gift Package reward.

Movement arts boosted speed, akin to wuxia's lightness skills, but superior.

Keng, confirm Spirit-Grade movement art summon?

"Yes."

Keng, countdown: 21, 20, 19… 3, 2, 1.

Keng, congratulations, Host acquired Supreme Spirit-Grade movement art: Phantom Shadow Free Wander Step.

"Hell yeah!" Lan An laughed, elated. Su Mei was his lucky charm—landing a Supreme-Grade art, second only to his taboo Immortal Genesis Scripture.

Without delay, he pricked his finger, letting blood drip onto a translucent jade that flickered elusively, moving with ghostly grace.

The art's details flooded his mind:

Phantom Shadow Free Wander Step

Grade: Supreme Spirit-Grade

Origin: Unknown

Function: Arrive like a specter, depart like a mirage. Freely roam the heavens, speed multiplying based on the user's realm.

Though expecting its potency, Lan An was thrilled. Its origin was beyond his current access, a testament to its mystique. The art had three tiers; with his cultivation, he could only master the first: Phantom Shadow. Yet, even this tier tripled his speed compared to peers.

With the Eight Trigrams Heavenly Reversal Palm still unmastered, plus this new art, Lan An itched to train. He rose, ready to head out.

At that moment, the waiter from yesterday and a smirking Chen Jiang approached, clearly heading for his room.

"Young Master Xiao Nan, our mistress wishes to meet you briefly. Is it convenient?" the waiter asked respectfully.

"Qin Meng Ying wants to see me?" Lan An frowned, wary. A Void Refining or higher powerhouse seeking him out was no trivial matter.

"Just a few questions, nothing more," the waiter pleaded.

"Fine," Lan An agreed after a pause. A Void Refining expert wouldn't trouble a junior like him lightly.

Turning to Chen Jiang, he said, "Here's 30 Upper-Grade Spirit Stones. Buy me some luxurious furniture."

Chen Jiang, puzzled by the request, lit up at the stones. Even high-end furniture wouldn't cost this much—the rest was his bonus.

"Yes, sir!" Chen Jiang thumped his chest, darting off.

Shaking his head at the rascal, Lan An followed the waiter.
