Lyra's POV
"Mom, Dad, once I leave, don't tell me you will start to love Lyra, forgetting about me, 'cuz I can't live without both of you," Aria said in a baby voice, and they eventually started to comfort her, saying that they won't even talk to me.
I guess it's also fine. If they leave me alone, I will live my life at least in peace then.
"Can I take Lyra with me to the palace as my personal servant?"
My eyes widened at Aria's words, and I looked up at her. She was smiling while looking at her parents. But even though they don't love me, I am sure they won't allow her to take me as her personal servant—after all, I am also their daughter.
"Of course you can. This way, she will entertain you in the palace too," Duchess said while adoring her. Even Duke was smiling. But no one took my side. My mates are stolen by her. Even my family doesn't love me and only loves her.
Why is all this downfall happening to me? What did I do wrong to endure all this? My tears didn't stop, and they just started to flow down from my eyes like a river.
Before I even knew it, Duke and Duchess had left from there, and Aria brought the knife to me and cut down my outfit. She threw servant's clothes at me. I had no other choice than to wear them, 'cuz I can't rebel against Duke.
Aria was taking only me with her as a servant. That's why I was sitting in the luggage carriage while holding everything. It was so tiring, but I can't say anything.
But when I looked up, it was the sky—shining with stars, and black color had covered the sky. I looked around—it was a forest, which was looking so beautiful. Every tree was telling its own story.
Every wave of air was showing the direction. So this is what it feels like after coming out from the mansion. I was confined in my room since childhood, so I have never experienced freedom. Even though this freedom is only for a few moments, I want to enjoy it.
After a while, the carriages stopped in front of the palace, which was so big. Aria came out from her carriage 'cuz someone had come to escort her from there.
I was looking at that, and just then, with a jolt, I fell ahead. I felt pain in my back. By the touch, I knew someone had hit me on my back. When I looked back, it was Aria's personal guard.
"Move your ass down from here, bitch," he stated with a disgusting face, but his eyes were looking lustful. I quickly came down from the carriage. Other servants, who were from the palace, came to me 'cuz they were assigned to Aria.
That means they are gonna work with me, so they helped me take the luggage inside. And one of those servants, Perry, was the best. She was also an omega. She showed me around and talked with me a lot. She helped me move into the servants' quarters.
As I moved in, I first asked for food 'cuz I was so hungry since I hadn't eaten anything yet. And Perry brought me food too. After eating such fresh food for the first time, I was very happy. I was thinking that I would take a rest after this, but then Aria summoned me—and that too, to help her in the bath since it's her first night with the princes.
I helped her take a bath and quickly left from there. She didn't say anything to me since other royal servants were also there. When I finally lay down on the mat, I was feeling very nice. But just then, I heard the bell sound, and a servant told me that Aria had summoned me into the bedroom.
Why did she summon me now? Still, I went and knocked on the door slightly. As I did, "Come in," I heard Aria's voice. That's why I stepped in and saw. Aria was lying on the bed, fully naked, and beside her, an alpha guy was also lying. He had his half body covered with a quilt.
When my eyes moved from his abs to his face, he was handsome. His green hair was literally shining in the dark room. So he was the prince—and my mate—who is not mine now. But I can't think anything like that now.
That's why I looked up at Aria. "Did you call me, Your Highness?"
"Yeah, I'm feeling sticky down there, so wipe my body now."
I went and brought a big towel and water. She was lying straight on her back, and I started to wipe her whole body. But just then—
"Ughh~~" Hearing that, I looked up. That prince was kissing her passionately. Seeing that, my eyes widened, 'cuz all of this was new to me. Just then, I saw the prince's eyes were open while kissing—and he was looking at me. I quickly looked down and continued doing my work.
"Vorn, I'm tired now, so please let's stop now. You don't have any control over yourself, do you?" Their sweet talk was falling in my ears. That's why I did my job quickly and left from there.
My heart was beating so fast after seeing that scene—even after coming out, I just forgot where to go. I was lost there, and just then, a hand emerged out from one of the rooms and pulled me inside. I was scared at that moment. Someone had covered my mouth and pressed me against the wall. I tried to look back and saw a red-haired alpha was behind me, and he was releasing so many pheromones, making me weak.
"Let me go!" I tried to shout, but he didn't let me and just covered my mouth harshly.
