"The Aegis Crafting is going to have to wait," Nina said, cleaning her cut with a damp paper towel. "We need to focus on what we have. Jake, get that data analyzed. We need to confirm the funds are there."
Jake rushed to his computer, the cloned data drive now the most valuable object in their possession.
Meanwhile, Kofi and Ren retreated to the dojo for a brief recovery session.
"The Anchor Blade works on low-level threats," Ren confirmed, examining the frayed tip of the paper blade. "The energy release is localized and powerful. But its durability is a major flaw. It's single-use, at best."
