The twelve-day observation lockout became a gift because nothing improved dangerous decisions like being forced to handle laundry first. Our household spent the first morning separating portal preparation from ordinary life maintenance. The distinction kept caution practical instead of allowing fear to consume every available hour.

We divided the work into health, law, business, household, communication, destination risk, plus individual refusal plans. Every section had an owner chosen through expertise rather than relationship rank.
