It held onto her arm tightly. A large, metal hand that could have probably wrapped around her bicep another time. Empty black eyes stared down at her as it scanned her for anything useful. Jackie and Lisa were gone, but they would be okay. She was still with the Doctor, so she would be okay too. Even he wouldn't let her get taken, get turned into one of them. She was safe, she was fine...
"Female has significant levels of chronon radiation." It declared, to what can only be described as the interest of the machine's leader. Her eyes widened in surprise as the Doctor's face contorted in horror.
"Chronon radiation is an indicator of time travel." The leader responded, "Female will be upgraded immediately to allow full access to time travel parameters." She shook her head, clawing at the Doctor. Her heart plummeted, fear turned her veins cold and she began to panic. She reached out to the man she loved, even if he didn't love her back, grabbing his arm and trying to pull herself away. She couldn't become like that, she just couldn't! All that pain, ripping her apart, taking away everything that meant she was Danielle Fielding. It was the only thing she had left.
"No, no please!" She screamed, clinging to the Doctor as two Cybermen took hold of her, one on either side, grabbing her arms tightly and pulling at her with ease. The Doctor grabbed her with both hands, trying to pull her back to him but failing miserably.
"Danni!" He screamed, the panic in his voice almost tangible. Her eyes darted around the room, looking for something, anything to save her from a fate worse than death. Her whole body was being fuel by that fear of becoming like that, when her eyes fell on the screen the Daleks had broadcast on. The Daleks. The Doctor had information about the Daleks...
"I know about the Daleks!" She screamed.

The Doctor quickly did a check, glancing at his wife and three travellers, making sure they'd all dropped to the floor before the Cyberman had a chance to shoot at them. This was why they shouldn't bring children with them. Now he had two extra people to look out for, he couldn't give his Danielle the attention she deserved while fighting the Cyberman that sat at the table, or any more that may appear.
"No need to panic, my young friends." Webley called to them, a slight laugh in his voice at their reaction, "We all know there are no more living Cybermen." The group slowly stood up, the Doctor pulling out his screwdriver and heading to the Cyberman. He scanned it immediately, making sure that it was definitely dormant, "What you are seeing is a miracle - the 699th wonder of the universe." The Doctor moved in closer still, checking the joints and smaller details. The scan had told him everything was okay, but he wasn't taking any chances with a Cyberman, "As displayed before the Imperial court, and only here to destroy you - at chess!" The Doctor opened the hatch on the back of the Cyberman's head, and it was completely empty. He'd been expecting a brain, which was a good sign but it didn't stop him shooting Webley a suspicious look. After all who kept a Cyberman as a pet? "Careful now. An empty shell. And yet it moves. How?"
Clara glanced at her two charges, Angie was staring at the man suspiciously, whereas Artie seemed to be bewitched by the man's rather impressive showmanship. Neither of them were scared, though, which was a plus. She turned to Danni, or where she thought Danni would have been stood, only to find herself on her own. She glanced down and saw Danni on the floor, her eyes squeezed shut, head in her hands. She was immediately reminded of her on the back of the moped back on Akhaten, so scared she could barely move. Clara hadn't seen her like that for a while, actually, she seemed to have become much more confident in herself.
"Danni?" She asked but the woman didn't move. She didn't know if she should bend down and comfort her, or if she should leave her alone, "Doctor?" She called over, her voice low to show just how much he needed to pay attention to her. He glanced at her briefly, still rather focused on the Cyberman. However, the moment his brain registered what it was that Clara was trying to get him to pay attention to he was over like a shot, crouching on the floor in front of his wife.
"Danni, Danni can you hear me?" He asked, giving her the once over. He couldn't see anything on her, no injuries or anything that could be hurting her, so he reached out, gently placing both hands on her shoulders

She struggled, she really tried to struggle to get away. Its grip was too strong, she was going to be converted! She couldn't become one of them. She'd never see him again, he'd be on his own all over again! She had to get away, she wasn't a Cyberman; she was human! She had to stay human!
She clung to Ten's hands the best she could, even as their reaches became overstretched, her fate pretty much sealed unless they thought of something to save her, unless she thought of something, "No, no please!"
'Please don't do this to me! Theta, please!'

The Doctor let go, breaking the connection instantly, "Danni, Danni listen to me. You're safe." He promised her, not touching her again for fear of falling back into her head. He remembered that memory well, back at Torchwood just before they had lost Rose. He'd genuinely thought he was going to lose her at that moment, and even though he'd not been fond of her for most of that period of time, he knew he had to save her. But he'd frozen, he'd not thought of any reason why the Cybermen should have let her go, she'd done that herself, "It's not a live Cyberman, this isn't Torchwood. You're safe."
He hesitated, then very slowly placed his hands on top of hers, pulling them away from the sides of her head. She'd not been like this for years, all that fear had been managed, they'd worked through it together. She still dreamt about the Master, but even that was becoming less and less frequent. He'd not realised how terrified she'd been at that moment back at Torchwood, he'd always assumed she knew she was going to be okay. He should have been playing more attention, but his younger self couldn't see what was in front of him.
Her eyes opened, brown shining as she stared at him, terrified, "Not a live Cyberman?" She repeated and he shook his head, smiling softly at her.
"You're okay." He promised, cupping her cheek, "I didn't know you were scared of the Cybermen."
"I'm scared of everything." She reminded, although that wasn't strictly true anymore, "We should get off the floor." He nodded, leaning forward and placing a kiss on her forehead, before he hopped up off the floor.
"Sorry, where were we?" He asked, clapping his hands together, taking the attention off her like he knew she'd want, "Oh yes, the empty yet moving Cyberman. How does it work?" He asked Webley.
"Magic." Angie suggested sarcastically, with a roll of her eyes at the entire situation. What a boring place, she should have just stayed at home. And what kind of alien was scared of an empty machine?
"That might well be, young lady." Webley replied in all seriousness, pulling out a coin and holding it up in display, "A single penny wins you five Imperial shillings if you can beat this empty shell at chess." He patted its arm just to illustrate how empty it was. He loved to give people a bit of a scare, but he'd not meant to frighten the young blonde quite so much. She seemed to be settling down now, though, with her husband's arm around her waist, holding her close. Good, he was worried he was going to have to show off what the table was actually hiding just to make sure she was okay, after all he'd not given them much warning.
"I haven't got a penny." Artie replied, rummaging in his pocket, "But I've got a sandwich." He held the sandwich up proudly. Webley eyed it distastefully for a moment, then nodded.
"All right, take a seat." He offered. Clara pulled out the chair across from the Cyberman for Artie before returning to Danni's side. She gave her friend a reassuring rub on the arm, and she returned it with a shaky smile. Something must have really frightened her, so Clara decided to keep a close eye on her two children, just to make sure they were safe.
"It is free of all devices," Webley explained, opening a panel on the side and waving his cane through the empty space to prove his point, "and yet it has never been beaten. Would you like to make the first move, young man?"
Artie nodded, moving a pawn one square forward. The Cyberman jerked into life, startling Danni slightly and the Doctor gave her a squeeze. The robot's moves were just as jerky as it picked up its own pawn, moving it across the board.
I'm think- strip chess.
The Doctor looked sharply down at his wife, who hadn't taken her eyes off the game in front of her but had a small, if not weak, smirk on her face. The voice echoing in his head hadn't been a perfect transmission, he was sure he'd lost at least half of a word, but she didn't seem to like to communicate like that so she must have been feeling better. He placed a kiss on her hair again as a show of his enthusiasm at the suggestion, after all she was terrible at the game.
Artie moved another pawn and the Doctor groaned, shaking his head slightly, "Oh, no, Artie. No, don't do that, it... It's a fool's mate." And just as he had spotted, the Cyberman moved its queen, then knocked over Artie's to show that it had won. The boy sighed, dropping his head down to his hands in slight annoyance that he'd lost.
Webley took a bite of the sandwich in victory, "If you can tell me how it works, I'll give you a silver penny."
"I think... you do it with mirrors." Angie suggested uncertainly.
"Hmm, mirrors, clever girl." The Doctor praised, Angie smirking because she was clever and Danni smiling at him praising her, "Well, let's see, hey?" He placed another kiss on Danni's head before bending down at the side of the table, Low tech. It's a puppet, monofilament strings, which means the brains are in..." He reached in, pushing one of the panels in the 'empty' compartment Webley had shown them earlier, revealing a man holding a remote control, "Hello." He greeted happily.
The man shot him a sheepish smile, "Hello. I'm the brains."
"Hello!"
"Give us a hand." He asked. The Doctor moved out of the way before helping the small man out. The man groaned, like he'd been stuffed in the small space for far too long.
"They call me Porridge." He greeted, cracking his back, "Ah, it's good to be out of that box." Webley stepped forward, ready to do some damage control. He'd had people work out their little 'machine' before who had reacted less than amused, he didn't really want to go through that again.
"For you, Miss..." He reached behind Angie's ear, pulling a coin out of nowhere, "an Imperial penny." He handed her the coin and she smiled, turning it over in her hand. Webley and Porridge headed out into the main room, motioning for the others to follow.
~0~0~0~
Porridge offered to operate the Spacey Zoomer for the children, who both enjoyed the anti-gravity experience even if Angie wasn't quite prepared to admit it. Danni had been in anti-grav situations before, but she had to admit she was rather jealous of them, but with the ride having seen better days it had been limited to two people at a time, and she didn't really want to go on it on her own. Normally the Doctor would have gone on with her, but he'd had his 'noticing' face on since they'd left Webley and Porridge's little home. She needed to go see Craig, Sophie and Alfie again, although Craig probably wouldn't appreciate the noticing face. He hadn't appreciated the last time, even though it had led to him realising what a great father he actually could be. Did they still think she'd died? Unless someone else had told them, the chances were they did. She should rectify that.
"Right, wonderful day out, Doctor, but it's time to get the kids home." Clara called over to the two Time Lords, who had both looked rather distracted throughout the entire ride.
"Yeah. Um, no. Not actually ready to leave." The Doctor replied, his eyes still searching the area for something he had yet to share with the rest of the class.
"Why not?" Clara asked with a frown. Considering how adamant he had been that they were only there for a quick visit, the fact that he didn't want to leave made very little sense.
"I dunno. Reasons." Was his distracted reply as he headed away from them, narrowing his eyes as he swore he had spotted something shining amongst the rocks.
"You've got your noticing face on again." Danni pointed out as she headed over to his side, crouching down at the same time he did, "Even Clara knows that face. What have you noticed?"
"Insects. Funny insects." He explained, "I should add them to my funny insect collection."
"You collect funny insects?" Clara asked incredulously.
"Yeah, I'm starting to. Right now." He murmured, jumping up and helping Danni up, "I need to do some investigating." He declared firmly, leaving no room for arguments, "Follow me."
"No, we're taking the children home." Clara replied, "Then you can go all Sherlock Holmes 'til your hearts' content."
"We can't leave." He retorted, "They'll just have to come with us."
"We could leave them in the TARDIS?" Danni suggested, "They'll be safe there and we can go find you some funny insects."
"Nope, I'm not leaving them in the TARDIS to break everything!" He cried.
"We are right here, you know?" Angie pointed out in annoyance, "Why can't we come too?"
"Because it might not be safe." Danni explained gently, "And last thing you want to do is get hurt on an alien planet." She turned back to the Doctor, "We'll put them in the entertainment room. They can just watch movies, maybe Clara could stay and keep an eye on them?" He shook his head, about to protest further when Porridge stepped forward.
"I have a place they can stay." He offered as a compromise.
~0~0~0~
They left the kids in Porridge and Webley's little home to sleep their investigation away, even though Angie hadn't wanted to be left behind and Danni hadn't wanted to leave them unprotected at all. Even the fact that Webley had stayed behind hadn't reassured her of their safety. She had been sorely tempted to stay with them, but she hadn't wanted to leave the Doctor's side and Clara had thought it was fine to leave them there, so who was she to argue with them? Still, she couldn't help but look back as they headed out into the outdoors once again.
"They'll be fine." The Doctor's voice whispered into her ear, causing her to jump slightly.
"There's strange bugs and Cybermen." She pointed out, "We should have left them on the TARDIS." He stopped his examination of the old pieces of a small rollercoaster to turn to her. She was biting her lip, he could tell she wanted to go back to the children, her worry showing as clear as day. He should have suggested her going back to them, after all if she was in a little room keeping Angie and Artie entertained then she wasn't in any danger, but he just couldn't risk her bumping into any more disabled Cyberman Webley might have had hidden. Not until he'd worked out what the funny little metal insects actually were, because he knew they weren't anything good.
Instead, he nodded towards Clara and Porridge, who were stood to the side of them, talking about the giant black, empty hole in the sky, "Looks like Clara's made a new friend." He commented, "Think she'll want to bring him as a stowaway?" Danni giggled, shaking her head as he pulled her close, an arm around her waist as he scanned the general area. He wasn't getting much except for perhaps a direction to head in, but it was better than wandering around aimlessly. Although that had gotten him onto a few right tracks in his time.
"Nah, Clara likes being our only friend." She replied, "I think that was half the reason she didn't want to bring Angie and Artie."
"Yeah. I feel like a monster sometimes." Porridge was saying as they looked out into the cosmos.
"Why?" Clara asked.
"Because instead of mourning a billion trillion dead people, I just feel sorry for the poor blighter who had to press the button and blow it all up." Danni felt the Doctor let her go and she reached out, linking her fingers through his before he could move away. She knew what was going through his head at those words, what memories that it brought back and he always pulled away when he thought too much about it. He shot her his sad smile, which she returned with a happy grin. She yanked at his hand and he stumbled towards her, a slightly surprised look on her face.
"You've not kissed me in entirely too long." She told him with a cheeky grin, "Come along, Spaceman. You're getting slow." His sad smile turned happy, finally reaching his eyes and he dipped his head, about to kiss her when he paused.
"Clara!" He called out, much to her confusion, "Did you tell Angie she could go to the barracks?" Danni turned her head to see where he was looking. Sure enough Angie was walking purposefully along in the darkness, obviously heading towards the barracks.
"You know I didn't." Clara replied before her head snapped in their direction, "She hasn't..."
The Doctor sent her an apologetic smile, "She's just gone in there."
"Come on." Clara declared, jogging in that direction.
"Someone should go check on Artie." Danni pointed out, "He wasn't with her. Maybe she's only heading there because she doesn't know where we are?"
"You know that's not why." Clara retorted and Danni shrugged.
"Maybe not, but then he's still on his own on an alien planet in the future away from home." She replied and Clara paused.
"You're right." She agreed, "You head that way and bring him to us, yeah?"
"Sounds like a plan!" Danni agreed but the Doctor shook his head, pulling them to a stop.
"You can't just go wandering off!" He cried, "You might-"
"He's a child and he's on his own." Danni interrupted, "I'll bring him straight back." He opened his mouth to protest further, his jaw working up and down but he knew she wouldn't back down, and he had to let her start doing things like this again. He didn't know for certain anything incredibly bad was going on, and he never used to be this bad. His old age had made him much more of a worrier when it came to her and he knew it was becoming frustrating for her.
He just didn't want her out of his sight, but he supposed it wasn't his decision to make. He sighed in his own frustration and took her face in his hands, placing a kiss on her crown, "Straight back." He warned and she nodded, beaming like a child who'd been allowed to go to the shops on their own, before turning and heading towards Artie.
"That was rather grown up of you." Clara commented, "Are you feeling alright?" He glared at her, storming off in a huff without a reply. Clara smiled, "That's more like it! Everything feels normal now." She told Porridge, "Come on, then!"
~0~0~0~
Danni dashed towards the Spacey Zoomer, surprised at just how excited she was at being allowed to somewhere on her own. She felt like a teenager who had been given some well-deserved freedom, even though she was a grown woman and shouldn't be 'allowed' to do anything. She knew that her Theta worried about her and just wanted her to be safe, but his attempts to keep an eye on her had become stifling. The fact that he'd willingly let he go get Artie from their little hideout meant that not only did he have faith in her abilities, but he was actually listening to her and letting her make her own choices. It might not have seemed much, but this was a rather big step for him. And even though she'd gotten lost on her way, she'd managed to use a dilapidated map to get back on the right track and soon enough the ruined entrance to the ride came into view, although from the opposite side from where they'd headed to begin with.
Of course, she'd not expected the silver zoom of a Cyberman to go flying in it, nor the scream that seemed to follow it. She dived down behind a plastic rocket that had fallen off another ride, but thankfully it seemed to have missed her. Her eyes widened and she scrambled up, because it quickly occurred to her that Artie was in there and unprotected except for an old showman who had worked for a sandwich. She ran as fast as she could to the ride, only to come to a stop before she entered.
She didn't have any weapons to fight a Cyberman off with, and considering they'd exploded an entire star system to get rid of them in the first place and failed, she doubted there was much she could do about it anyway. If she headed in there, she was completely defenceless and walking right into their cold, metal hands. But she couldn't just leave Artie to their mercy, though. She had to try and save him! She could try and bargain with them, she'd done it before after all. She wasn't sure how far knowledge on the Daleks would get her, but she would give it her best shot. With an affirmative nod to herself, she continued on, only to enter the room in time for her to see the last shimmer of a blue light, the room completely empty.
Great, that was just so typically her. Never any use and always just too late. It was nice to see those little indications that even after all those years, she hadn't changed much. The best she could do now was to try and work out where they'd gone to, so she started searching the room for any sigh of where they'd gone. The blue light was probably a teleport, even she could work that out, so maybe there was a trigger or even a physical mat they'd used. She dropped to a crouch where they'd disappeared, running her hand over the well-worn carpet. It just felt like carpet to her, nothing stood out but unlike Theta she just couldn't tell the difference between how the ground was supposed to feel and if it was slightly off. That wasn't her forte, nothing really was these days.
She sighed as she stood back up, okay so maybe there was some of trigger or device to link the room to wherever they'd headed. She doubted it, they could probably go wherever and whenever they liked, but she had the vain hope that perhaps they were as decrepit as the theme park was.
The door opened and she panicked, diving between the two sofas the children had been sleeping on and squeezing into the small space that was there. She closed her eyes and held her breath, hoping that she'd made it into hiding in time just in case another Cyberman had decided to do another sweep of the area. Cybermen couldn't convert Time Lords, and she had some of that mixed in her, so at best it'd just kill her, but she wasn't much use dead.
"Danni!" A voice cried and her whole body relaxed in relief, "Danni!" The panicked voice of the Doctor rang through the room and she stood up, pushing between the two sofas to break free of her little hiding spot.
"Theta!" She exclaimed and he turned on the spot, pointing his sonic screwdriver at her like a gun, "What are you going to do with that?" She continued, scrambling out of the gap and over to him. He grabbed her, lifting her up and spinning her as he crushed her against him in a bear hug. The moment he'd realised where the Cyberman that had grabbed Angie would most likely be heading to next, he'd barely been able to give Clara some imaginary power to stop them blowing up the planet before heading out of the barracks, hearts pounding painfully in his chest. If the Cyberman had gotten to her before he did, there was a large chance he'd never make it in time to save any of them, let alone her. But she was fine, she alive, she was there!
He placed a hand on the back of her head, pulling her head towards him so he could place a passionately desperate kiss on her lips, the relief rolling off him so strongly he knew she'd be feeling it too.
"Are you okay?" He whispered and she nodded, the slightly stunned look on her face turning to mild panic.
"A Cyberman got Artie!" She exclaimed, her words coming out in a long ramble, "I think he's alive, but I don't know where they've gone. I-I got lost on the way, so I didn't make it in time but there was a flash of blue so I think there was a teleport or something."
"It got Angie as well." He told her lowly.
"What about Clara?" She asked and he shook his head.
"No, just the children." He replied, a frown appearing on his face, "Why just the children? Surely the platoon would have been better for parts..." His eyes were drawn to one of the tables by the sofas. He made sure to hold her hand tightly, pulling her towards it, bending down to view the metal insect on its surface.
"Is that one of the funny little insects you were talking about?" She asked and he nodded.
"Yeah," He leant in closer, "Firstly, if anybody's watching this, those children are under my protection. We're coming to get them. And secondly... little metal machine..." His lips pulled into a smirk, "you are beautiful." He quickly disabled it as Danni rolled her eyes, trust him to be drawn to a metal insect. He held it up in the air, spinning it between his fingers, "Not even a Cybermat any more, eh? Cybermites?"
"So that's the new version of that little rat thing that attacked Craig?" She asked and he nodded, reluctantly letting go of her hand to place the Cybermite in his palm.
"Upgraded and streamlined." He replied, nodding towards where the Cyberman chess-player should have been. Unsurprisingly to both of them the room was empty of anything but the actual chess set.
"Theta?" Danni asked as he studied the little mite in his hand. He tried not to smile at his name on her lips, no matter how long it had been since he'd first made that step with her, that name coming from her would never not sound fantastic, "Where's Webley? Have they killed him?" That was a good point, there was no body but they might just not have left one. Chances were, though, that the Cyberman that had been in the room had been overrun with the Cybermites and he'd been used for spare parts. He didn't tell her that, though, he knew that his silence on the matter would tell her everything she needed to know without having to go into any detail.
"Hold onto me, Danielle." He commanded and she wrapped an arm around his waist, leaning on his side. He scanned the Cybermite, "Now... there's a local transmat link open to this guy's home. If I can just find the frequency..." He held up the sonic and they both shimmered out, then back into existence somewhere completely new. Her grip on him tightened and he dropped the mite to wrap an arm around her in response.
"That really shouldn't have worked." He murmured.
"Angie!" Danni cried suddenly, breaking away and dashing forward. Just in front of them stood Angie and Artie, side by side, something on the side of their heads flashing blue, "Artie, can you hear me?"
"Danni, Doctor, help us." Angie stated without any emotion as the Doctor joined her, scanning the children as she waved her hand in front of their eyes. There was no response, they just stood there stoically.
"Doctor, what do we do?" She asked.
He turned to her, hoping to give her some words of reassurance when his eyes were caught by something else, "Webley?" She spun to see the man stepping out from the shadows, gasping in horror at the sight. The whole right-hand side of his face had been replaced by machinery, the hand on the same side also covered in the same metal. The Doctor took a step in front of his wife, suddenly regretting telling her to take hold of him.
"We needed children, but the children had stopped coming." The man explained slowly, victoriously, "You brought us children." He raised his hand to his chest, slamming the metal against it in salute, "Hail to you, the Doctor and Danni, saviour of the Cybermen!"
~0~0~0~
Webley had tried to approach them, but the Doctor hadn't wanted him anywhere near his Danielle, so they'd circled around a small table in the middle until the machine that had once been a man had stopped, allowing them to fall to a halt as well.
"As the battle raged between humanity and the Cyberiad," He explained casually, "the Cyber-Planners built a Valkyrie, to save critically damaged units and bring them here and, one by one, repair them."
"The people who vanished from the amusement park - they were spare parts for repairs." The Doctor spat darkly in reply, putting the horrible pieces together. Danni grimaced, her chest aching for all those people lost to the Cybermen, even the ones they didn't know about.
"We've upgraded ourselves." Webley continued, "The next model will be undefeatable."
"Nothing's undefeatable." The Doctor retorted. Webley turned on the spot, heading towards the children. Danni took a step forward to walk over with him, hoping to stand between him and Angie and Artie in some form of protective barrier, but the Doctor placed a hand on her shoulder, holding her back. The children were in no danger, otherwise they'd have been converted by now. Danni risking herself was pointless.
"We needed children to build a new Cyber-Planner. A child's brain, with its infinite potential, is perfect for our needs. But we no longer need the children." The Doctor frowned as Webley turned toward them once again, "The Cybermites have been scanning your brain, Doctor. It's quite remarkable." He started walking purposefully towards the pair and the Doctor backed away, doing his best to still stand between him and Danni.
"Also completely useless to you. Cybermen use human parts. We are not human. You can't convert non-humans." He retorted, also trying to reassure Danni that they were safe while trying to make the man back off.
"Well, that was true a long time ago. But we've upgraded ourselves. Current Cyber units use almost any living components." Webley opened his hands, showing off the Cybermites he'd been hiding before chucking them at the pair. The Doctor shoved Danni out of the way, the woman hitting the floor with a yell as the mites landed on him. He cried out in pain, bending backwards as they crawled over him and Danni scrambled up, terrified as he seemed to flash the same blue the children were.
"Doctor!" She cried, freezing as he stood up straight. Metal had appeared on his face, not to the same extent as Webley but still very prominent. Her hands hovered in front of her, but she didn't dare move any closer as he stared past her, his face twisting in a joyous, evil grin.
"Incorporated." He purred, still in his own voice yet sounding completely wrong, "Yes." He patted his chest and face, as if feeling himself for the first time, "Unfamiliar pulmonary set-up. Nervous system hyperconductive. Remarkable brain processing speed. Ooh!" He chuckled menacingly, "Amazing!" He then turned to Danni and she gasped at the look in his eye, nothing like her Doctor at all. He skipped over to her, clapping his hands on her shoulders, "And you, my dear," He looked her up and down before pulling her closer still, "oh, my dear," He wrapped an arm around her, dipping her backwards and she whimpered in fright, "You're worried," He declared before leaning closer, "you should be." He murmured.
"D-Doctor?" She stuttered nervously and he shook his head before letting her go. She dropped to the floor again with a painful jolt as he straightened up, looking down at her so proudly it almost made her skin crawl.
"Not anymore, my pet," He cried, "your Doctor has been fully incorporated." He chucked his arms out, "He's one of us, now."
