The city lord of Ryukan, Ushida had a habit of playing with his pet rabbits after waking up in the morning. This way, he was always able to start his day in a good mood.
But on this certain day, when he went to do exactly that, beside the cage where his beloved rabbits lived, he found a letter.
With the kind of person he was, there was no way Ushida was going to forget a letter here. So there was only two possibilities why it was here. Either one of his servant had put it here who was in charge of cleaning the cage and feeding the rabbits. Or, someone from outside had sneaked in to do this.
But Ushida was unwilling believe the second option. Their was no way he could believe that someone could enter this place which was located in the deepest depths of his extremely well guarded mansion without any of the guards noticing. He was very certain that one of his servant was responsible for this.
