Chapter 3 - Ch 3: Knight Secret Arts

"Mother, sleeping with nobles or any men is not a punishment for you and I know that. You have slept with almost all of father's friends and you even regularly have orgies with the soldiers whenever father was away. I have no intention to become someone like you so, I do not need your teaching in my life."

Saying this much, Weiss again sighed and looked at Sherry with cold eyes and sounded her death sentence.

"I have no desire to keep you alive and your staying alive is also not be good for my mental health. At least I will make your death painless as a last act of filial piety even though you have only inflicted pain upon me for my whole life."

Weiss was not a sadistic person like her mother and seeing her mother's suffering would bit bring her any extra joy or satisfaction. So with the same cold look on her face, Weiss pierced her mother's heart and gave her a quick and peaceful death.

...

"Miss Weiss, I have gathered all the corpses in the garden."

An old butler reported this to Weiss in a shaky voice. Even though he knew his life was not in any danger, after seeing so many corpses, a normal person like him was still shaken.

His name was Robin and he had been working as a butler for the Souran family for many many years. He was here since the rule of Weiss's grandfather.

He had seen the young lady getting abused day in and day out and had felt bad for her. So he was one of the few people in the castle who had helped her out even if those helps were small and insignificant.

Weiss still remember how Robin had given her some food when she had been starving for three days and how he had secretly given her some herbs to treat the whip marks left behind by her father. These small shows of kindness were the reason why Weiss had not killed him too during tonight's massacre.

After hearing what Robin had said, Weiss nodded her head and put down the book that she was reading. Then she stepped out to the garden so see the bodies.

Other than her father, mother and big brother, Weiss had also killed a total of ten soldiers of the Souran family. Currently they did not have even a single soldier left. Weiss had plans for all of these dead bodies.

First she ordered Robin to use snow to preserve the bodies of ten soldiers. She would need them later on. As for the bodies of her father, mother and big brother, she would give them proper burial.

But before that, she needed to do something with them. Weiss used the power of a knight again and easily started carrying the three bodies. She brought them to an abandon storehouse and opened the door.

Inside the storehouse, there was a medium sized wolf with white fur. It's body was tightly bound with several chains. As soon as the wolf saw Weiss, it started cowering in fear.

Weiss did not mind the fearful wolf and threw the the three bodies before it. Seeing the fresh human bodies, the wolf was unable to hold its hunger back and managed to overcome it's fear.

Then it's started to tear the bodies into several pieces with its teeth. With its strong jaws and sharp teeth, it was an easy task.

After the bodies had been sufficiently damaged, Weiss killed the wolf with a simple thrust of her sword. Then he told Robin to gather all the torn up body parts and be ready to bury the body the very next day.

Weiss did not want to give up on the Souran territory for the time being. So she needed to officially become the next baroness.

For that to happen, she first needed to show that the death of the previous baron was a normal accident and not any kind of assassination.

As Robin started to put toghether a somewhat complete corpse of the baron, the baroness and David, Weiss returned inside the castle. In her hands there were several keys that she had gotten from the baron's coat.

This key was for the room where the baron himself lived. The door to that room was made using some kind of powerful metal and even Weiss was unable to open that door with the power of a knight.

No one other than the baron himself was allowed to enter this room. Not even baroness Sherry or David. So Weiss was curious about what was inside that room.

...

As she opened the large metal door, a very simple room came to her view. This room had nothing but a bed, a table with just a single chair, a bookshelf with less than a dozen of books and a sturdy safe made of the same metal as the door.

Weiss entered the room and locked the door from inside. Then she started to go through the things present in the room.

To her surprise, Weiss found that even though the book shelf had only a few books, all of them were very valuable books about knights and nobles.

The most valuable book among them was definitely the book titled "Heavy Mountain Secret Art". This was the signature secret art of the Souran family.

There was another secret art called the "Fierce Bull Secret Art" but the grade of this secret art was slightly inferior to the Heavy Mountain Secret Art.

Secret arts were the lifeblood of a knight. Only by practicing these arts a regular person would be able to gain extraordinary strength of a knight. So these books were extremely valuable and were the foundation of the Souran baron family.

Weiss was very interested in these two secret arts and she immediately started to read them. Her intelligence was extremely powerful so she was able to finish reading it very quickly. Then after finishing both of the books, she fell into deep thoughts.

Even though Weiss was already a proper Knight, she had not followed any of these two secret arts to reach this realm of hers.

She was not allowed to train as a knight and her only duty was to open her legs for any men that her father, mother and brother had chosen for her. So obviously she was not given access to these valuable secret arts.

So how did Weiss managed to become an official knight who was strong enough to defeat even her father, the baron ? It was all because of her unbelievable intelligence.
