Briz was working at one of the consoles on the bridge, attempting to get it powered up, when he suddenly found himself moving away from the console for no reason.
As he moved further and further away, he found himself speeding up and also noticed many other objects on the bridge that weren't fastened down and had been aimlessly floating around before now, suddenly heading in the same direction he was.
["WHAT THE FUUUCCCCKKKKK"]
["Briz? What's wrong?"]
["The access door to the bridge has been breached and now everything is rushing out of it, including me."]
["What the fuck? How is that possible? I thought you were sealed in."]
["I am, or was. But now I'm being sucked out along with the air and everything else not secured down."]

Briz was sucked backwards at an ever increasingly rapid pace towards the bridge's door before suddenly passing through it.
Adam, who was standing in one of the small alcoves beside the door, had already remagnetised his boots so that there was no chance he would be pulled into any of the sudden air pressure being sucked out of the bridge.
As Briz came spinning out through the bridge's doorway, he caught sight of an unknown individual standing beside the door with a weapon raised in his direction, making his eyes widen in surprise as he saw the individual pump the handle on the bottom of the weapon, causing him to say over the comm.
["Ah, Shit."]
["What? What happened?"]
Adam pulled the trigger on his plasma scattergun, causing white hot plasma to once again eject from it before impacting the front of Briz's space suit, which started to quickly melt soon after.
["AAAAAHHHHHHHHH"]
Briz screamed into the comm just moments before his space suit's visor gave way to the white hot plasma.
The chat watched as first the oxygen in the mask rapidly leaked out of the now destroyed visor of the helmet, causing Briz to instantly fall unconscious and die. However, that wasn't the end of the show, as it just got more gruesome.
Briz's white skin started to turn red as his blood vessels burst while all the liquids in his body, including in his eyes, mouth and even blood, started to boil due to the extremely low air pressure. His head started to expand and become almost leathery before the inertia of the spin hid his changes from view as he floated away down the corridor.
[Whostolemyduck (Earth): I can't decide if that was cool as fuck, or sick as fuck.]
[AlamoMatador4thewin (Earth): That was just like Total Recal, where he gets thrown onto Mars's surface before the oxygen arrives.]
[Gunlovergirl (Earth): Yeah, except Arny survived, whereas that Briz guy died instantly.]
[StealthAssassin9 (Earth): Why did he die instantly?]
[NonpareilRaphilia (Aaru): Because Nagareen are a cold-blooded race. Unlike warm-blooded races, which would last about 15 seconds before losing consciousness and then a few more minutes before death. A cold-blooded race dies instantly because their bodies lack the internal mechanisms to generate heat to survive.]
[DeverinianLordMalacoss (Deverinian 9): Although, to be fair, even if it was a warm-blooded race, they would have died after getting a shot from a plasma scattergun to the face.]

"Oh my god, is your show going to get taken off the universal subspace network for showing that?" Eri asked after witnessing what had just happened to Briz.
"We should be fine, after all, I did warn people before everything started, thank you for that, by the way, Kasumi," Malgath replied as a look of slight apprehension appeared in his eyes for a moment.

"You're most welcome, but even I didn't expect the stream to showcase what happens when a space suit's helmet is breached. Has anything like that ever been shown on a stream or show before?" Kasumi reapplied.
"Not on a stream, after all, who is mad enough to risk their life for a few more viewers. However, it has been shown a few times on Newcasts when a news correspondent is reporting from the frontlines of a space battle; however, it's never been shown so up close and in such detail." Malgath replied.
"I can already tell that Xer-verse is going to go crazy over what we just saw, and there are going to be so many clips of it posted," Eri stated.
["Briz, hey Briz, answer me, damnit."]
["Fuck, what the hell happened?"]
["I have no fucking idea. He said the door to the bridge was breached, but how's that possible when the power's out?"]
["He said breached, not opened, right? Doesn't that make it sound like someone forced their way in?"]
["How's that possible? The powers still out, and it's not like you could use the manual release to open it since inside the bridge still had atmo."]
["Could it be the same reason why atmo suddenly vented from the ship before? Could we have an intruder?"]
["The same question applies, how did they open the inner airlock, then let alone the bridge door? Both had atmo on one side and no atmo on the other."]
["I get your point, but what other reason could there be?"]
["It's pointless talking about this right. We need to assume that something happened to Briz as well as Bekkit. One of you check on the FTL drive while the other heads for the bridge."]

["Yeah, Shikei. Maybe we will listen to you when you're doing something helpful and not stuck in the R&D lab."]
["I wouldn't still be fucking trapped in here if one of you came and got me out?"]
["And how the fuck do you expect us to do that? You said yourself that we can't use the manual release to open the R&D labs door since you have atmo in there still."]
["Simone is right, Shikei, for now, just shut up and stay put. We will work on getting you out after we jump to FTL.
He's right, though, one of us should go check on Briz."]
["Of course I'm right, that's what I've been telling you."]
["Shut the fuck up, Shikei, you're not helping anyone right now. Go clean your dam fur or something.

"Sounds like the Rabitouser named Cha Cha is heading for the bridge, what will the streamer do about that, I wonder," Malgath commented just as they saw that Adam started to move again on the stream.
A few seconds after the sudden release of the air pressure from inside the bridge, it finally calmed down as Briz's corpse had floated far down the corridor. Adam demagnetised his boots before using his anti-gravity drive to fly inside the bridge.
"Which console is the communications one?" Adam asked as he looked around.

Adam continued to look around before he spotted a console to the far left of the bridge against the wall that had a glow around it, and flew towards it.
[Superhearofangirl (Earth): So, quick question, why was that Nagareen the only one on the bridge? I mean, there are loads of consoles and stations.]
[DeverinianLordMalacoss (Deverinian 9): At a guess, the other bridge officers were sent out to help repair the ship. Since we know the Nagareen Briz was the one who got the job, it's safe to assume he was the pirate captain. I'm guessing he had them all leave the bridge and go help repair the ship once the systems started being affected by the distortion bolts. He then sealed the bridge for his own safety before the ship became fully disabled.]
[Superhearofangirl (Earth): Seems a bit coincidental, doesn't it?]
[DeverinianLordMalacoss (Deverinian 9): Not really. Pirates by nature are greedy and only look out for themselves.]
Adam flew over to the console and held his hand out over it, causing his uniband to morph again as a connector once again grew from it that Adam then plugged into a socket next to the console.
[[Power transfer initiated.]]
After a few seconds, the console lit up and started to run through its boot cycle before it became operational, just as the screen was flooded with warning and error messages.
[[Hacking into console.]]
The warning and error messages continued to appear for a few seconds before they suddenly vanished, as Spector announced.
[[Console access acquired.]]
"Good, search for anything relating to Diva Lorelie or yourself."
[[Affirmative, searching now.]]
[[Information located, downloading.]]
[[Download complete.]]
"Nice, we're done here. Let's get back and leave the rest to the Merinmian Defence Force," Adam said as he unplugged his uniband from the console, making it once again go dead before he turned and started flying towards the bridge's door.
