After getting over his shock at discovering what Spector actually was, Adam decided to ask "So you have just been lying dormant here for thirteen hundred years? Surely I'm not the first person to discover you in all that time?"
"Affirmative you are not, I have encountered your species seven times over said time period, unfortunately however they did not meet the requirements to become the potential operator and so they had to be liquidated in order to keep Spector's location classified.
"Wait, wait ,wait." Adam said nervously. "Are you telling me that if I didn't meet the requirements to become the potential operator or whatever, I would have been liquidated?"
"Negative." The android replied.
"Oh that's good." Adam replied with a sigh.
"There would have been no need to liquidate you, you were already about to cease functioning, it would have been more productive just to ignore you." The android said in her cold emotionless voice.
"Right." Adam said before deciding to change the subject and asking, "So how do I become this potential operator?"
"You already are the potential operator as you already qualified." The android replied flatly.
"Ok let me rephrase, how do I become the actual operator?"
"While you are the potential operator, you do not presently meet the requirements to become the Spector operator."
"Why not?" Adam asked, confused.
"You currently do not meet the psychological conditions because of what happened to the bipedal lifeform identified as Jenny."
Adam frowned before saying, "Ok first off Jenny was a human like me not just some bipedal lifeform."
"Did this Jenny walk on two legs?"
"Yes." Adam replied hesitantly because he could guess what was coming.
"Then she was a bipedal lifeform and my identification was not incorrect."
Adam sighed before asking, "Fine, but from now on can you refer to my species as human or instead of bipedal lifeform?"
"Request accepted, species designation upgraded."
"Thank you, now what is your designation?" Adam asked.
"My designation is Spector." The android replied.
"I don't mean this." Adam said, waving his hands around to indicate everything around him.
"I mean you, the android."
"My designation is Spector." The android repeated.
"Ok fine." Adam sighed before continuing. "For now we will stick with Spector, however in the future we will need to think of a new name for you so that I don't get confused when talking about you, the android and this." Once again he waved his arms around him before he changed the subject.
"So what do you mean by my psychological conditions?"
"The trauma you received from the death of the human designated Jenny, by the human designated Viktor, has left a psychological scar which will interfere with your duties as the Spector operator." Spector android replied before continuing.
"While medical data shows that given time it is possible to move on from the death of a loved one, the nature of the incident will cause distracting thoughts and a desire for vengeance unless the root cause of the issue is dealt with."
"What do you mean by root cause and what would you suggest?" Adam asked.
"The root cause is the human designated Viktor, Spector suggests you eliminate the root cause so that your desire for vengeance is fulfilled and you can move on." Spector android answered.
Adam stared at Spector android for a moment as if trying to come to terms with the fact that the beautiful elvin android before him had suggested he kill Viktor, in the end he decided he needed confirmation on this fact.
"You're suggesting I kill Viktor?"
"Affirmative."
"While I have thought about the idea, I am not so traumatized to think I could actually pull it off. Viktor is from one of the five richest families in the world and that means he has power, protection and influence."
"I am no match for the security he has around him, there is no way I could get near him let alone kill him."
"That is presently correct, but only because you have not had the chance to get used to your body's upgrades and also received combat training." Spector android replied.
"Wait body upgrades?" Adam asked with concern.
"Affirmative, here." Spector android replied before a different holographic display appeared before Adam.
This wasn't like the holographic displays Spector android showed him before, this one actually moved with his vision.
"What's this?" Adam asked in shock.
"The retina of your left eye was damaged beyond repair so a replacement prosthetic eye was manufactured and installed, this is one of the basic features of you prosthetic eye, a heads up display or HUD that shows you vital information about yourself and the location around you in real time as well as providing status updates, notifications and many other functions."
As Adam focussed on his HUD he noticed that it looked very much like a HUD you would find in a video game. It had a compass at the very top that moved when he looked in different directions. The name of his current location was displayed in the top left currently saying Spector. The top right showed a mini map of his current location.
The bottom left showed a heart rate monitor along with a few empty square boxes while the bottom left showed the outline of a gun.
Adam also found that as he focused on a specific area it increased slightly in size before returning to normal when he stopped focusing on it, or that if he thought about it he could make part or all of his HUD disappear and reappear as he wished.
"Wow this is amazing, what else did you change?"
After asking, Adam's HUD showed a new window picturing a human body with highlighted sections, as Spector android began to explain the Hud automatically zoomed into that specific section of his body.
"Your lungs have been replaced and with these new ones you will never run out of breath when running or doing other heavy activities that require heavy breathing.
"Your heart, though not replaced, has received modifications to allow great blood flow to coincide with your increased lung rate."
"A neural implant has been installed in your brain to allow the other replacements and upgrades to function as well as providing a substantial increase in your memory and brain processing capacities, also I have already installed the ability to read, write and speak all known languages."
"Your skin and bones have been genetically reinforced allowing for increased durability, such as resistance to knife attacks and other standard blades. It will not prevent damage from ballistic weapons however it does lessen the damage considerably."
"Your genitalia…."
"WAIT WHAT!" Adam shouted in shock when he heard the word genitalia before quickly pulling the underwear he was wearing away from his body so he could look down and check his privates.
"What is this? It looks like mine it's just…. bigger" Adam asked in confusion.
"Your genitalia needed some minor repairs to the damage it received." Spector android repeated before continuing as if not caring about the interruption.
"However, because it was deemed too small a enhancement procedure was performed along with the repairs to bring it up to above standard size since literature found on the global communications network shows that men prefer their genitalia to be larger."
"Included is the ability to make your sperm infertile if you so wish via your HUD."
"Wha." Adam asked before thinking about making his sperm infertile, as he did so a message appeared on his HUD.

As he thought about reactivating it a new message appeared.

"Wow." Adam said as he decided to leave it disabled. Although he had no plans to have sex in the future or maybe ever again after what happened to Jenny, he figured it was best to be safe just in case.
Noticing that Adam was once again paying attention to her, Spector android finished the explanation by saying. "Further upgrades are possible in the future if you become the operator and wish to receive them."
