Five days later and I'm still weird around Desmond, especially whenever I see him half naked. He seems fine with it though. Better than ever actually. Thankfully, the teasing has subsided a little, but not the constant smirking whenever I look at him as if he knows how much he affects me.
He's doing it right now.
"Stop smiling like an idiot," I hiss at him as the driver pulls up to The Lopez Room headquarters parking lot. Today marks the day I officially start working as the chairwoman and CEO, but first, I must be introduced to the board members.
The meeting date was set for today, and unlike the time I was introduced to the executive team, I don't have Grandma to speak up for me. She went on vacation with her friends, leaving my lonely ass to prove my skills to the most important team of The Lopez Room. I sigh.
