Naruto nodded frantically. Sakura looked dejected but with the look that Kakashi gave them, she immediately shut up. Sasuke was also curious but his Pride was stopping him from asking Naruto or Kakashi.
In the end after some more talk about teamwork, Karin finally gave them their bento boxes to eat.

It was October 10th. The birthday of Uzumaki Naruto. Unlike the other days Kakashi had not taken his students on any mission. It has been around a month since Kakashi took the genin team. Most of the time he made them do teamwork exercises and take D rank missions. But today it was different. Kakashi had spent most of the time of the day near the memorial stone paying respect to his late teacher. But Karin had different plans for the day. Knowing that it was Naruto's birthday, she had planned a special party for Naruto. In the guise of team dining, she had made Kakashi call all of his students to her house for a small celebration. Unfortunately there were no cakes. Karin was already busy preparing for a large variety of food items. So busy that she didn't even get the time to play the adult game with Kakashi that she used to play daily. She simply didn't have the time to bake a cake. She could have bought one but she didn't want to make it obvious. From what she had found, Naruto had never celebrated his birthday. On his birthday he just used to go to Ichiraku ramen to get himself a special treat from the money given by the hokage. Kakashi was planning to just give him a small gift and that's it. But how could Karin let her Bitcoin celebrate his birthday all alone ?
"So how is the food ?" Karin asked without looking at anyone. But her mind was focused on Naruto.
"This is delicious ! Where did you learn to cook like this big sis ! I have never eaten anything like this before ! Even if there are a lot of vegetables they are so tasty !" Naruto was speaking while stuffing his mouth with a cheese burger. The table had a lot of food. From ramen and dumplings to biryani and pizza. There are even different types of vegetable soup mixed with meat and other different ingredients. Naruto was eating enthusiastically. Sasuke was not shying away either. Kakashi was somehow done eating and had already left the table without anyone's notice. Only Sakura was hesitating. Most of the food was junk food. Even without knowing what they were, Sakura, determined to stay slim, was only eating the fruit salad.
But Sakura was not the target of Karin so she didn't care if the flat chest girl remained fixated on dieting.
After eating until Naruto literally got the belly of a pregnant woman, they finally stopped. By the time everyone was done, everything on the table was completely clean. Although Karim didn't request them to, at the end everyone helped her clean the dishes.
After cleaning, Kakashi stayed with Karin and Naruto while Sasuke and Sakura left.
"So we were actually celebrating my birthday ?" Naruto's eyes watered after seeing the gift, wrapped in a shiny cloth.
"Well, truth to be told, I didn't know that it was your birthday. It was Kakashi who informed me yesterday. So this is nothing fancy. Just a lot of special coupons from Ichiraku, and the collection of my favourite books." Karin offered a small smile. Even though Naruto couldn't see through her heart, the smile definitely had ulterior motives.
"But still, it is the first time someone celebrated my birthday. Thank you big sis. Thank you for the gift." Naruto finally let go of his bottled up emotions and let it all out.
"It is not a big deal. Even though you have not inherited any physical aspect and the Bloodline limit of our Uzumaki clan, we are still family. Once my probation is over you can come here whenever you want. I cook for myself so I don't mind cooking some extra ramen for you. And once you get older maybe we can have some family bonding time." Karin hugged Naruto and tried to calm him down in a comforting manner.
But Kakashi, who was keeping an eye on his student and his neighbour, immediately gave Karin a sharp look. Noticing his gaze, Karin shrugged her shoulders innocently.
Unknown to Naruto he had already gotten trapped in a trap of an S ranked Predator.

Tenzo (Yamato) was not expecting to survive the mission after encountering Sasori in the red sand. Despite having wood release, he was not a S ranked shinobi. Sure, he was stronger than a regular elite Jounin. But there were monsters out there who could easily kill him without putting much effort.
Thanks to his wood release and the sacrifice of one of their teammates, he and Yugao managed to escape. But not before he got hit by one of his poison needles. Knowing how far they were from the hidden leaf, he had requested Yugao to leave him behind and get back to the village with the important information. But the stubborn woman had knocked him out and carried him all the way back to the hidden leaf.
Tenzo opened his eyes in a very familiar room. The smell of disinfectant gave away his location. The red-haired woman with the hidden leaf headband, made him assured that he was in the hidden leaf. It could have been worse.
"Don't try to talk and don't even think about using Chakra. I will call hokage sama now. Just lay down. Your body still has a lot of poisons in it." Tenzo decided to listen to the doctor and didn't move much.
He didn't have to wait for long before the door of his hospital room opened again. This time along with the red haired woman, the third hokage had also arrived.
"Tenzo…. No need to try to move right now. Yugao had submitted the report to me. Your health is more important than your report." Third Hokage assured him before turning towards the doctor.
"So Karin, exactly how is his condition ? And is his complete recovery possible ?" Hokage asked the young woman. That's when Yamato felt that the name sounded familiar.
'Isn't that the new neighbour of Kakashi senpai ?' Tenzo asked himself in his mind.
"Well, as you know I am not that good with poisons and that field of medicine. Even the director gave up. The only one who could probably find the antidote for this poison is Tsunade sama. This is a completely new type of poison. It is reacting very slowly but it is affecting the body in a way that it is turning his body into the poison itself. I have never seen anything like this." Karin said with a grave expression on her face.
"What do you mean ?" Hiruzen asked, not understanding what Karin wanted to say.
"Well it is affecting his Chakra directly and his Chakra is turning his blood into poison itself. Without the antidote, curing it will be impossible. Even less than a drop of poison can slowly turn his own blood into poison and claim his life. For now he is out of danger. I have extracted as much poison as possible and pushed all the remaining poison to his feet. I have sealed it there so that it wouldn't spread throughout his body. Using a little Chakra is fine. But if he uses Chakra to fight then the poison will spread again.
For now finding the antidote is the best solution I can think of. It will take time. But it is the safest way for him to come back to his career as a Ninja without any risk. There are two other solutions, but I don't know if he would like them." Karin told the hokage.
"Let me hear them. What are these solutions you are talking about ?" Hiruzen asked her.
"Well first off, we can simply cut off his feet and then use artificial prosthetics to make him walk. I think with enough time and practice he can become a Ninja again.
The second solution is actually very risky. We will have to perform a critical operation. But I am not confident in doing that alone so I would rather not risk his life." Karin suggested the hokage.
"Hmmmm…. For now, let him recover while you try to find the antidote. Exactly how much time do you need to make the antidote." Hiruzen asked her. He knew the truth. Even when the director of the hospital had given up, Karin had managed to save their only wood style user.
On top of that Karin was once a student of Tsunade. So he was confident that she would be able to find the antidote.
"I can't say for sure…. But maybe around 15 days to a month. It is the first time I am doing this." Karin shrugged.
"It is alright. Take your time. After he recovers, you can take him to your personal chamber." Hiruzen told Karin. After exchanging some more sweet words with Tenzo, he finally left the hospital.
Tenzo was surprised that he managed to recover within just 3 days. Of course he can't even stand because his feet were completely useless, but being able to move around his upper body was a plus point. With this he could finally take baths. Of course he still needed the help of Karin to go to the bathroom but at least he didn't need help with everything else.
Finally on the 7th day of his stay in the hospital, Karin came to him with a strange blue coloured liquid and a syringe.
"I will give you a test shot first. And then monitor the movement of the poison. If you feel uneasy then just tell me." Karin told Tenzo.
"Ummmm… may I ask why I am naked ? Tenzo asked awkwardly.
It was not the first time Tenzo was naked in front of Karin. But previously he had noticed that Karin was extremely professional about it. Contrary to popular belief Tenzo was not gay. He just admired Kakashi for his character and held him in high regard because of how he had helped him when Tenzo was still in the root.
So, obviously he felt embarrassed about such situations before. But since Karin was showing restraint and was acting professionally, he was not showing any emotions outside. Even when his body reacted naturally and had made his cock hard in front of the magic before, he had managed to act all professional. Karin never looked disgusted or got embarrassed in front of him. "Ninety nine percent. I am just being cautious about any side effects. If it is about curing the poison then this antidote will work with hundred percent certainty.
Now get ready. Tell me if you feel anything weird." Karin warned Tenzo before she started filling the syringe.
Unknown to Tenzo, he was trapped. Kakashi had left with the team 7 to the land of waves 3 days ago and Karin was horny. So now he simply had no escape.
