" The smiling Figure in my dream!.." Muttered EJ to himself, he wasn't one to get scared so easily, but decided to wait for the sun to come out before going back to his apartment.

The time was 5:45.AM when he got to the beach, so he waited till it was 6:00.AM when the Sky's were clearing of dark and you could see the faint glimmer of the Sun.

He decides to head back and on his way and to his relief there was more people getting up going about their businesses.

Twenty minutes later.

" Was I seeing things?" Uttered EJ to himself in confusion as the other people walked by that side of the street and seemed to see nothing out of the ordinary in the alley.

" Sigh.. Forget it. Can't be late on my first day at the Job". Said EJ to himself and sped up to his apartment.
.
6:45. Am. He gets out of the shower, hurriedly wipes himself, puts on his black boxer shorts, his white singlet, combs his hair and puts on his Police Uniform and body Armor Vest.

He rushes out of his apartment, locks his door and heads off. 7:01.AM. In the office of the Police Chief of Kumia City.

In walks a middle aged man, black short hair in Black Suit his gun strapped to his waist, and flipping through a book.
.
"Good Morning Sir" EJ seeing him stands up from sitting down and with salute greats him.
.
The Middle Aged man glances at EJ with a nod, walks to his desk sits and starts flipping through a pamphlet. A minute later.
.
" EJ, 20 years, 5.11, expert marksman and combatant as your team never lost in the training drills, interesting profile Rookie, I think I have the best person to partner you with" said The Chief of Police and picked up the line phone and called in another Officer.

"Rick Come to my office now" Said the Police Chief and hanged up and begun to flip through a crime scene on his desk. A minute later,
.
A man in his thirty's wearing a white shirt and armor vest and black trousers, walks in the chief's office. " You called Sir..?".
.
"Ah, yes Rick come in, EJ this is Rick, Rick this is EJ, from now on you will be taking him along patrols and calls, let him familiarise himself with the work". Said The Chief with a hand gesture for them to leave, stopping Rick from trying to dodge the tasks.

As they left with Office Rick is paged about a 10-65 in progress. "On my way, keep up Rookie" answers Rick and motions for EJ to follow.

They get into the police vehicle and Rick steps on it, fifteen minutes later, they get to a gass station, shoppers on the floor, the glass behind the counter destroyed and the person behind bleeding from his shoulder.

With their guns already drawn-out they badge in and the asks were the robber went. One of the shoppers then point to his right outside. "Rookie call the Ambulance and stay here to help, I will be back"
.
Rick takes off to the direction the shooper pointed and lives EJ to the Crime scene.

"Hold on Help is coming" said EJ to the bleeding man as he bent down on one knee comforting him. "Is anyone else Injured?" Asked EJ to the ten people in the store. But everyone else was fine except the man who could barely breathe.
.
But then something catches the eye of EJ from the far left corner wall of the store, a large Blackened ink hand printe, which looked not human.
.
And then he realises. The people were still lying on the ground even tho they were safe now. He slowly goes for his gun on his waist then in Pounces the bleeding man grabbing onto his arm. "THIER HERE" Says the man with a grim and deathly stare at EJ.

"Calm down Sir, your going to be Alright" says EJ, tho was frightened didn't show as he tapped on the man's hand. But then suddenly he hears a slithering sound.
.
He turns his head and all ten Shoopers had become Blackened skin Humanoid Creatures with beady-eyes and razor teeth approaching him.
.
He jumps back pulls out his gun and fire's, the first shot goes through one of their heads but does nothing to it.
.
They charge at him and in panick he presses the gun again but this time a larger fire like Explosion Erupts from the arm the dying man grabbed and blasts away himself and the creatures.
.
The Present. 5:00.AM
.
"Sigh.. What is with this damn! Dream!!!
