Space was cold and dark. Leo watched stars zoom past. But soon, danger came. A meteor storm crashed toward him. Rocks smashed the ship's wings. Leo worked quickly, fixing the damage while meteors flew by.
Later, he entered a strange fog that hid everything. Suddenly, a group of space pirates appeared.
"Give us your ship, boy!" the pirate captain shouted.
Leo's hands shook, but he stayed calm. He switched on the ship's bright lights, shining them into the pirates' eyes. The pirates stumbled, then flew away in frustration.
