Kolton's jaw clenched as Stella's interruption shattered the moment he had been building with Kimi. The sight of Kimi walking away made his blood boil, and he turned his full attention to the woman who had caused this disruption.
His eyes blazed with fury as he stepped closer to Stella. "What the hell are you doing here?"
Stella flinched under his intense stare, her confidence crumbling. "I-Kolton, I just—"
"And what was that about a restaurant? About her being with Bennett?" His voice dropped to a dangerous whisper. "Are you having her followed now?"
"No, it's not like that." Stella's voice shook as she tried to explain. "My friend happened to see them together and mentioned it to me. I wasn't spying."
The muscle in Kolton's jaw twitched. The mere thought of Kimi sharing a meal with another man sent a wave of possessiveness through him that he couldn't control. His hands balled into fists at his sides.
