Belros opened his domain . This thought made everyone's heart started to race . Domain is an extremely powerful exclusive skill inside which the person who made the domain had the absolute authority . Kaito was now inside the domain as he couldn't see Belros anywhere .
Suddenly , Kaito felt that a hand grabbed his leg and was attempting to pull him underground . Kaito who had his senses enhanced sensed the hand before as he released himself and rised up in the air . His body was still covered in lightning .
He saw that one by one many hands rised up from underground as the figures emerged . They were all puppets made by Belros . This was the ability of the 'Domain : World Of Puppets' . This domain made infinite amount of puppets according to the wish of the user . What made him more anxious was that these puppets had weapons with them and their strength is no less an A-Rank Awakener .
Kaito took out his sword . This wasn't the sword he made with points but it was the sword given to him by the family . The moment Kaito held the sword , he felt a warmth and peace passed through him . It was really a holy sword . These divine level artifacts are the rewards passed down to each family heir . Although , the usage of these swords are less but it doesn't change the fact that this sword is extremely sharp , strong and durable .
Kaito descended to the grounds as he crashed in between the puppets . He started cutting down the puppets . Although it wasn't too easy but Kaito still managed to eliminate them all . Kaito's two hands had the magic of fireball on one hand and lightning on the other . These two powers are so overwhelming that Kaito himself had to strain himself for a bit to control them . Although these are fourth circle magic but the output and power rivals a sixth circle spell and to control both of them at once . Kaito gathered both hands as he pointed it at the puppets . The fireball and lightning fused with each other and growed in size . Kaito's mana circles rotating violently inside his body to supply the required mana .
This attack was so massive that the people outside could also feel a light surge of mana from the domain . Belros himself was surprised . He expected Kaito to be SS-Rank but this attack far exceeded the power of SS-Rank and was mostly in the mid-tier of SSS-Rank .
The two balls collided in the ground and exploded . The puppets are suddenly covered by the explosion and the domain started to have a crack . Belros looked surprised as he didn't expect his domain to form a crack .
The dust settled as he saw a huge crater of diameter equal to 50 meters on the ground . Belros looked at Kaito with rage .
Kaito on the other hand suffered a bit of backlash with the overwhelming power as he coughed up a bit of blood but it couldn't erase the cold and icy look from his eyes . He looked at Belros as he saw his reaction . Kaito again stood straight in the air as the lightning around his body became violent .

They both collided once again . The impact this time was greater than the last time as the domain started forming bigger cracks . The cracks grew and grew with each impact from the two fighters . He couldn't understand the reason for the boost in stats but then he noticed the suit Kaito was wearing . The suit which amplified the power of Awakeners .
The lights in Kaito's suit were glowing yellow which signified that Kaito's sync rate had surpassed 80 % . Belros caught Kaito's hand as he threw him . Kaito crashed on one of the buildings . They were still inside the domain but by the looks of it , the domain won't last for much longer . Kaito got up as his suits colour started changing from yellow and was progressing towards red .
Kaito walked slowly as he started coming towards Belros . He spat out a bit of blood from his mouth as Kaito's suit colour became increasingly red . Finally , it stopped at red . Kaito achieved 90% sync red . The maximum sync rate achieved by awakeners till date was 96% and Kaito was already close to that record . He will write another history .
Belros eyes glowed red as he waved his hand . The domain shattered in an instant as they both stood mid-air . The curtain which was covering them removed as they both stared at each other . Kaito was now visible to everyone . His friends saw him . The family heads saw him . The people saw him . The principal of the Academy could also sense the fight going on below as he also descended . He saw Kaito too . Kaito surpassed his expectations . Everyone was shocked to see the colour of Kaito's suit .
"9-90% sync rate ?" said Kendo
"It's impossible" said Akane
"Kai ? What have you become ?" said Akari
Yuuki couldn't help but stare continously . The family heads also had shocked expressions . They turned towards Kiyoshi in a manner of demanding explanation but Kiyoshi slowly shaked his head .
"Kaito achieved this sync rate on his own" said Kiyoshi
"N-No way !" exclaimed Ayaka
Koji and Yuta just stared . Kaito on the other hand wasn't looking good . Nobody noticed it except for himself . Although he wasn't seriously injured but his internals had taken a blow . His strength was slowly decreasing . His circles raging violently inside him . His aura core also rotated uncontrolably . Belros and Kaito looked at each other once again .
They disappeared once again as Kaito clashed with him . The mana waves were immense . Kaito was using his aether circle to supply more mana by converting it . Kaito's body was taking in more mana and aether from the surrounding as Kaito continued to use his mana breathing . Each breath he took was full of mana .
Their clashed made the others tremble . Kaito was giving a tough fight to a demon king . This was a view no one expected . Kaito's blade was in his hand and Belros also took out his blade . Both of them covered it with aura as they both clashed again . The sword released sparks upon contact . Belros's demonic blade released demonic energy and Kaito's holy sword released holy energy from within . Their attacks growed fiercer and fiercer as Kaito suddenly used his momentum to kick the demon king . He crashed in the ground behind rubbles . Kaito descended as they started attacking once again . This time Kaito wasn't unscathed as his body was full of injuries .
Kaito could feel his strength decreasing too fast as he wanted to end the fight faster . Kaito's skin started turning pale due to the loss of excess blood . Kaito suddenly dropped to the ground with heavy breathing . His sword pierced the ground as Kaito took its support . His maximum strength already had left his body as his mana reserves were also rock bottom . His internal organs are in a critical state as Kaito used aether to run them . The blood he coughed up this time was more than last time .
Belros realised that Kaito's strength had gone . The lightning around his body had stopped and his sync rate was falling faster too . He rushed towards Kaito to end him before it's too late . This person was a danger to their race as long as he existed .
The family heads realising Kaito's condition and Belros's intentions took action immediately . They couldn't let Kaito die in vain . Kaito's strength had greatly surprised them . The strength Kaito showed was greater than their expectations and now they felt that Kaito needed help . The came and one of them collided with Belros . The dust settled as Belros saw another person blocking his blade . The person had a pair of brown eyes and blue hair . Then he noticed the others . There were 5 of them .
Ayaka went towards Kaito as she bent down . Kaito looked at her with exhausted eyes .
"Good work , Kaito . We'll take it from here" said Ayaka as she handed a healing potion to Kaito .
"Thank you" said Kaito
He wanted to end the fight as because this was his chance to receive the system update but now it seemed difficult . Kaito still didn't give up . He just needed the demon crown which is dropped after the demon king dies . He could just obtain it . The fight between the family heads and Belros started but it didn't last long .
Kaito had already injured Belros and forced to use maximum of his strength to fight against him . Belros was now low on both stamina and mana . The match ended quickly as Kiyoshi's one strike pierced Belros in different places as he fell down . The movement stopped and everyone realised that Belros died when his body started to turn into ashes . Kaito suddenly forwarded his hand and took the crown before it was able to be exposed . This action was unknown to others as they saw that Belros's body disappeared . They didn't understand the reason they missed to see the crown but they assumed that it had disappeared and had already started to move towards the main source of power for the demon king . The 'core' .
They didn't even realise that Kaito had already received it and inserted it inside his inventory . Kaito received a bunch of level up messages . He expected this because demon kings are the only creature who could provide Kaito with such a huge level of exp .
Kaito slowly lost his conciousness as his body entered a shut down mode due to extra usage of his powers . Kaito fell on the ground as his sword stayed by his side raising it's head towards the sky .
