Rodney walked into the house and was not in the best of moods. He just came back from seeing Lex at the clinic.
Martin realized that the young man was not in the best of spirits. "Come here Rodney, have a seat beside me and let's talk. I know you just had your appointment at the clinic and you don't look so good. Talk to me about it."
"Mr. Martin, it's not fair. I see all the other boys my age 16 to 18 without a care in the world running and playing and here I am big as a side of the house, swollen, my belly is. I don't want to be pregnant. I didn't ask for this but yet there's nothing I can do. This is not supposed to happen to me, not until I'm 20 and go to my transition then I have my first cycle and I choose to have a partner or to be impregnated with the child of a breeder of my choice. Why did they do this to us in the program? Is money that valuable that they have to have it any way they can get it?"
