"This must be what Father meant, the 'Transparent World.' This is…" Tanjiro thought, looking at Akaza's transparent form. "Time seems to slow down… no, his movements seem slow to me."
Approaching Akaza, Tanjiro shouted, "Akaza! I'll cut off your neck!"
Giyu Tomioka and Kyōjurō Rengoku: "Just do it! Stop yelling!"
Hearing Tanjiro's yell, Akaza finally noticed Tanjiro behind him, completely undetected. He was shocked.
But this shock lasted only a moment. He reacted instantly, throwing a punch, which Tanjiro easily dodged by ducking his head.
"What? How did he get behind me? I didn't sense him. How did he do that? No, it doesn't matter.
My "Compass Needle" senses all attacks. His strong battle ki will only make my technique faster!"
As he thought this, Akaza noticed that Tanjiro wasn't emitting any battle ki, meaning he couldn't sense Tanjiro's next attack.
"What's this strange aura? He's like a different being. His battle ki has vanished completely. In all these centuries, I've never seen a human without battle ki. Even babies emit some ki, but his vanished completely.
