This is a story about Kyla Yang. When she was in highschool, age 16, she has been sent to the school psychologist multiple times by her teachers and counselors. They believed she was suffering from depression and wanted to unalive herself. The AP Psychology teacher was concerned because she mentioned feeling left out in the classroom. You see, Kyla had no friends. She always kept to herself and didn't socialize with anyone. Even though she was quiet, she was kind towards others.
Ever since Kyla Yang was in elementary school she has always been labeled as the quiet kid. The teachers were concerned because she sat by herself in the classroom and didn't hang out with anyone. Kyla didn't see the point in making friends or hanging out with anyone, but she was extremely lonely during school days.
As Kyla got older, she slowly opened up from her shell and became more social and bubbly. It seemed as if trips to the school psychologist really were helping!! She even got braces and she felt so much more confident. Kyla did dual enrollment, where she was able to take college courses during her senior year of high school. Kyla felt so fulfilled knowing she was challenging herself and starting a fresh new chapter in her life. She approached people for the first time ever and realized she had a side to her where she couldn't stop talking to others. She talked and talked and talked.
Kyla saw this beautiful girl at the age of 17. Kyla isn't lesbian, but she wanted to be friends with her so very badly. During their first hangout, Kyla thought she was so pretty and so sweet. The beautiful girl even posted their hangout on her story while writing a paragraph of how much she enjoyed the hangout. Kyla was so happy, she finally made herself a friend!!
However, after a couple days, Kyla approached the beautiful girl again and wanted to hang out with her again, yet the beautiful girl said she was busy. The beautiful girl's name was Kaileen and even though Kaileen was too busy to hangout with her, she had time to meet up with guys from tinder.
Kaileen told her uncle that she was going to hangout with Kyla, when instead she was going to hang out with some guy on tinder. Kyla didn't know what to think when she heard that, but when she told her parents and sister, they deeply hated her and told Kyla to not hangout with her anymore, but Kyla didn't listen. She thought it was just her imagination and that sweet pretty girl is still the same person she admired. Yet, she was wrong. As time passed, Kaileen got worse.
She made Kyla feel bad about herself for something she couldn't control. She mentioned her braces, something she thought was super cute, and caused it to be an insecurity instead. Since Kyla really admired this girl, she took it to heart and started wanting her braces off. This is the story of everything that caused a huge nightmare.
