Chapter 2 - The Grey Silhouette

Realm: The Origin Layer

Sher walked, though he wasn't sure in which direction. The landscape around him remained fluid—alive and uncertain. Light didn't behave naturally. Time didn't seem to flow.

Then came the silhouette. Tall. Hooded. Standing still in the distance.

— "You came before your time," the voice spoke, distant and tired. "This is not a place for names. It is where names are forgotten."

Sher approached cautiously.

— "Who are you?" he asked.

Silence.

Then:

"I am not who you seek. I am what stands before the truth.

Even shadows can cast light—if you look from the right angle."

Sher tried to see the figure's face, but all he saw was blur—like something his mind refused to shape. As if the world itself was guarding the answer.

The air warped. The figure disappeared. Sher was left alone, with words that felt like riddles and wounds that had no source.
