Chapter 10 - Chapter 10

It looked like ordinary apples bananas and oranges each weighing one hundred jin. Thinking about the hot weather Sophia ordered one hundred watermelons.

Apples were 5.9 yuan per jin bananas 3.9 yuan oranges 5 yuan per jin and watermelons 3.9 yuan per jin. She picked Qilin melons seedless.

She chose good quality fruits so even though she bought a lot the prices were not cheap. The total price for the fruits was 6550 yuan.

Sophia suddenly felt she could buy more so she looked around the store again. She wanted ten baskets of grapes one hundred jin of peaches and one hundred jin of cherry tomatoes.

When Sophia left she saw durians and coconuts at the door. One smelled bad the other was hard to open. She wondered if the pigs would like to eat them.

After thinking Sophia decided to buy one hundred of each just to test the reaction.

The shop owner smiled widely as Sophia gave the numbers. He asked jokingly Are you buying these for a big company to give to employees?

The prices were not discounted at all and Sophia looked like a young girl who just started.

Sophia's mind returned to reality and her face changed. Yes she said.

Business people were sensitive and saw the change on her face. The owner stopped asking questions.

That's all for now Sophia said.

The owner felt a little sad and wished he had not asked.

The total price for all the fruits came to 79550 yuan. Sophia asked the owner to add a little more to make it 80000.

She paid 30000 yuan as a deposit gave her home address and left.

This market did not only sell fruits and vegetables but also rice flour grains oil and even wine.

Besides big fish and meat fruits and wine were used for the ritual. Maybe noodles could work too.

Sophia paused a moment and then walked towards that area.

She first went to a grocery store selling rice flour grains and oil.

She looked around and thought bundles of vermicelli looked good.

This was a wholesale store. The vermicelli was packed in woven bags. Sophia ordered one hundred bags.

What is the best peanut oil she asked.

She pointed at the most expensive one on the shelf. I'll take one hundred barrels of this peanut oil.

The shop owner looked at Sophia suspiciously. Young lady which company are you from? I don't think I've seen you before.

Sophia tilted her head and replied Why? Are you afraid I will run away without paying?

The owner laughed awkwardly. No it's not that.

He thought new customers usually paid first before delivery. He wasn't worried about that but worried Sophia was playing games with him.

Sophia ignored this and kept looking around. They had rice and flour at home and she already bought a lot so she didn't buy more of those. The house was big when she lived alone but now with so much stuff she worried there would be no space.

She passed by the rice and flour and was about to leave when she saw rows of instant noodles.

Do you have cup noodles Sophia asked.

The owner followed her leisurely.

Yes we have everything.

Sophia checked and said I want one hundred boxes of Jin Feng brand cup noodles. Flavors braised beef pickled cabbage seafood and pork ribs. One hundred boxes each.

One box had twelve cups which was a little small but it was enough for now.

The owner raised his eyebrows but calmly wrote it down.

That's all for now please count the price Sophia said.

She thought about all the things she bought. She would be very busy feeding them so she stopped here.

The fans are six thousand, the peanut oil is seven thousand five hundred, and there are four hundred boxes of instant noodles in four flavors, totaling four hundred boxes and nineteen thousand two hundred.

"The total is thirty-two thousand seven hundred."

The shop owner used a calculator and told Sophia the total.

Sophia only heard the final number. She scanned the QR code in front of the counter, asked him to open the receipt, and then paid.

Seeing Sophia's smooth payment, the shop owner was a bit stunned.

He had done much bigger business before but didn't expect Sophia to actually buy.

Looking at the young girl, her whole outfit probably cost no more than five hundred.

"Miss, is this for your cafeteria?"

Sophia smiled, "Yes."

The shop owner's smile became even friendlier.

"This batch can be delivered to you this afternoon. Please leave an address!"

Sophia didn't stay in the shop long, left the address, and went straight home.

Although it was just buying things and she didn't have to carry the goods herself, she still felt a bit tired.

The hotel bed she slept in last night felt unclean, and she didn't sleep well all night.

Sophia took more than an hour to get home and immediately went to the pigpen.

The two groups of piglets inside were already hungry and whining.

Sophia carried out a bag of sweet potatoes and three or four cabbages from the storage room and began washing and cleaning them.

She was in a hurry to feed the pigs and didn't notice the four boxes placed on the corner of the pig trough.

The corner was dark, and the boxes were a dull color.

Sophia washed the sweet potatoes using a steel wool scrubber, which was very clean and efficient.

After rinsing the cabbage, the sweet potatoes were boiling on the stove with bubbles popping up.

When Sophia saw the sweet potatoes were soft, she cut the big cabbages and threw them into the sweet potato soup.

When she carried two full buckets of pig food out, the originally quiet piglets immediately put their front hooves on the low wall and started whining.

Sophia skillfully opened the door and poured the food into the trough. At first, the piglets nudged her feet, but once the food was down, they started eating with their heads down.

Sophia stood outside the low wall watching the piglets eat, feeling very satisfied.

After watching for a while, she took the two empty buckets to wash them and planned to take a shower.

Turning around, she finally noticed the messy pile of things in the corner.

Sophia was suspicious and guessed something but didn't dare believe it.

No way, was there another treasure found so quickly?

Although the quantity looked even bigger than last time, Sophia could manage to stay calm.

Her heart was pounding fast.

Although over a hundred million was enough for her whole life, who would dislike more money? Who would find money too hot to handle?

Sophia even felt her hands and legs go weak.

She didn't put down the wooden bucket in her hand but squeezed it tighter.

When she walked to the pig trough, she finally loosened her hand to pick up the big wooden box that had been pushed out from the trough and was lying beside it.

Thinking carefully, luckily the door was latched.

Sophia came back to her senses and quickly carried the wooden box outside the pigpen to a brighter place.

The box she carried wasn't very heavy; it even felt a little light.
