Her hair was a short cherry red. Jagged. Layered. Cherry eyes to match. Pupils weren't slit, though. Wearing a brown cloak, still from the Brotherhood—or happened to have a resemblance.
She had fair white skin. Perfect in more ways than one. Her pointed ears just as long as mine. No doubt. She was a dragon.
Wait, no. That was her…! The one who was in the brotherhood! The one who was the assistant to the leader!
She was a dragon all along?
Her long, thin tail raised in the air. It was far more scalier than mine, thicker. Dark red crimson scales encapsulated it. At the tip of the tail, a metallic layer formed like a scorpion's stinger. A darker color than the rest of her tail.
It wasn't big at the base like mines, no, it was thin all around. She didn't have any horns, but dare I say it captured the beauty far more.
She looked straight at me. Slight contempt. Slight disgust.
"Ryuuzen, meet Cloudjumper. I'm sure you two have ran into each plenty of times before realizing. But since there is no time for introductions, however…" Sultan trailed off.
I grit my teeth. Another dragon? How amazing is that…?!
Another dragon!
Another. Dragon.
Get a hold of yourself Ryuuzen. But even then, the prospect of another dragon! I haven't seen one in so long!
Sultan laughs, "Hah. Guess who's excited…?"
I could feel myself slightly smiling, and my tail wagging exactly like a dog would. I tried to knock some sense into it. But the fact that I didn't notice it was doing it at all.
Even my body responded as if meeting their own kind for once in a long time. Like, I wanted to step forward and—
No. Ryuuzen. Get a hold of yourself.
Are my dragon instincts reacting to another dragon because of this? Is this why I'm acting like this?
I got a hold of my tail at the base. Shoved it back down like it committed a crime. Because, it did. Embarrassed me for one.
I look at…Cloudjumper again. Yeah, that's her name. Cloudjumper. We stare at each other, but I can't even hold eye contact. Am I getting too flustered?
Now, I had to focus with Cloudjumper and Koga against me. One I already considered to be Ascendant level, and the other…maybe a level below that.
Still, would be annoying.
And still, I couldn't take my eyes off of Cloudjumper; the red on red on red visual impression of her was so easy on my eyes.
Sultan snaps his fingers to gain my attention, "Your move, Ryuuzen. Either you comply, or make this harder for everyone else."
I look. Koga. Guards. Cloudjumper…should I do this? Can I fight them?
Nothing about Cloudjumper screamed Sovereign. I've never seen her before, so she has to be from the Golden Age. Wow, a new age dragon. Even the premise sounds interesting.
Okay, okay. Stop fanboying. She might be deciding which way she wants to skin me. Her eyes narrow down at me as I reveal my hand from my cloak, which I then point at Sultan.
"Fair game. But rest assured, I won't be going easy," I couldn't stop the smile curling at the corner of my mouth. The excitement of a battle looming, the smell, sense, and aura of another dragon.
It heightened my senses to unreal levels.
Sultan laughed once, then raised his hand. Koga took a step first towards me, blade ready, until a voice broke out.
"No." Cloudjumper began. Her voice was…steady. Not calm, eager.
She threw her hand across, revealing it from the cloak. Then, looked at Koga.
"Let me handle this. It's only right that a dragon puts down another dragon." She said, Koga…nodded. He looked a bit dismayed and defeated, but he didn't question it.
Koga didn't step in. No. He realized this wasn't his fight anymore.
And…hey…?! What do you mean put down another dragon?
She took off their brotherhood cloak, which revealed her figure, but that didn't last long. I couldn't see what clothes she was wearing before ashes and fire began to surround her.
An aura, and a red outline around her body as a materials formed around her body in a great light. Not blinding, but it was building, almost.
I watched in total shock and excitement. Not taking my eyes off her not once.
When it was all said and finished, a slight wind gust blew everything in the area back. Plates fell off the table. Curtains were blown back, but I stayed.
There, Cloudjumper looked arguably better.
Armour was formed around her. But even saying that doesn't do it justice. It came to heed her call. Her summon alone.
Crimson played folded over her like a second skin. Sharp, organic. It looked grown, not forged. Not something you could gain from your blacksmith.
There were no shoulder guards or pads, her shoulders completely exposed. But yet the dragon-plating developed along her collarbone.
Her gauntlet ended in clawed fingers, but her left hand was remained free. Her fingers clenched tight into her hand. Pair that alongisde her tail guard and—
With another massive wind gust, her wings erupted. It folded and outstretched themselves. I could only watch. Guards lost their footing against the current, but I didn't.
"Wo-woah…" Left my lips. I could only stand there. Be amazed. And be amazed again.
Her gauntlet hand wiped alongside her cheek, then, she broke into a cocky smile.
"Woah indeed,"
I hesitantly took a step back, "H-huh?"
She lowered herself, her armour moving alongside with her, and then in that next moment. Vanished.
I quickly scanned for every trace of her, only to find her right behind me. I threw an emergency punch, but she caught it with her gauntlet hand.
Squeezing it, that was one of the first times someone ever done. I pushed against her resistance, but hers was too great.
Cloudjumper made me kneel, squeeze my hand tightly. I could've sworn it was going to break at that stage. She looked down at me, a slight blush on her face. Heat maybe.
And then, in her reflection of her armour, I saw my own reflection, and then my very own blush. Not heat, it's the thrill. I feel very much aroused right now even in great pain—
I hissed in pain. Cloudjumper only smiled more, I couldn't fight against her. Not with my mind and body being so conflicted.
