Chapter 3 - The Messenger From Dexon

The sun had retired and the moon had taken over the sky when the messenger sent by King Potter of Dexon reached Tarah war camp. The war camp was just outside the Dexon border; all the people of Dexom in small villages around this area had vacated their residences before the Tarah's troops arrived.

The messenger was stopped at the gate to the camp. "I'm a messenger from Dexon; I brought a message from King Potter to His Highness Prince Gregory and Robert the Strong," said the messenger in a hurry before Tarah's soldiers could take his life.

One of the soldiers, who seems to be the leader of the soldiers at the gate, gestured at another soldier to report to Bloodeye; the soldier left quickly and came back with Bloodeye following behind him.

"What is it?" Asked Bloodeye the moment he arrived at the gate. The messenger took a step back in fear the moment he saw Bloodeye. Bloodeye was a regular man, he was a well-built man with an average height but his red blood eye made him horrific to the eye, adding to the fact that the messenger and the whole soldiers of Dexon who had not been to the war front had heard a lot about how dangerous Bloodeye was no man stand against him and win, the messenger could not help but fear him.

"He claimed he brought a message from their king for his Highness" The leader of the soldiers at the gate replied Bloodeye's question.

"Mmm!" Bloodeye grunted and stared at the messenger for about a minute. Those few seconds were like harf for the poor messenger who felt like he was under the burning gaze of the sun and was sweating profusely. "Come with me," Bloodeye finally said, fortunately taking his eyes off the messenger. The messenger took a sigh of relief and followed after Bloodeye who was already moving.

Then went deeper into the War camp. The messenger's eyes dart around as the soldiers stare at him as if ready to strike him down with their swords at any minute. The messenger swallowed hard in fear. He knew coming to the Tarah's war camp could well be the end of his life, but he had no choice h3 could not go against the king's command.

Finally, they got to the tent in the middle of the war camp, and there the messenger saw the legendary warlord, Lord Robert the Strong; there were too many people to fear in Tarah, so you can't blame the messenger for shaking in fear.

Robert the Strong stares at the messenger, looking at him intensely, just as Bloodeye did some minutes ago, but fortunately for the messenger, it is more bearing than Bloodeye's Stare. The messenger wasn't sure if Bloodeye's eyes weren't the sun itself.

"He is a messenger from Dexon," Bloodeye explained to Lord Robert, who nodded in understanding. "Wait here," He said to the messenger and went into Prince Gregory's tent. A few minutes later he walked out with Prince Gregory, a tall brown skin man in his mid-twenties. He has long silky brown hair that reaches his shoulder length and blue eyes. This time, the messenger nearly fell as he stumbled back; the fear he felt in the presence of Bloodeye was nothing compared to what he was feeling now; it was even harder to breathe.

Seeing this, Lord Robert the Strong quickly turns to Prince Gregory, "Your Highness, control your power " He said to him.

"Oh sorry, didn't mean to suffocate you," said Prince Gregory apologetically, and like it never existed all the fear the messenger felt disappeared into thin air and he was back to breathing properly. The messenger took time to catch his breath.

"Now, what message have you brought?" Asked Prince Gregory with a smile.
