Just one day.
Just one fucking day where everything doesn't go to shit quicker than when he inhales a steak.
Was that too much to ask?!
Elian couldn't help but wonder this mentally as he struggled to breathe on the marble ground of the bakery he and Kyren had teleported into.
How they went from having a walk to THIS... was mind-boggling.

Elian huffed through gritted teeth, wishing he could smack the bugger on its invisible face.
'Yeah... You told me I had nothing to worry about with the bond curse. So what the fuck is happening now?' he managed to ask mentally while struggling to raise his head and stare at Kyren.
The hooded man standing behind the counter finally turned fully to face them, his arms stretched wide.
Elian's brows creased when he saw that face underneath the hood.
That face... Why did it feel like he'd seen that face before?
