'Okay, first off... Why the heck is the bond resonance activating right now?' Elian snapped mentally at the system at the same moment that the door closed behind the intruder witch.
The witch spread out his arms, causing sickly green tentacles to sprout from the ground and aim at Beta Axel, who stood before Elian.
"No!" Axel yelled, drawing out his golden plasma sabre and sending a sharp slash at one of the tentacles.
But where one fell and shrivelled to the ground, another took its place, coiling and twisting until a few managed to wrap around Axel.
[The bond Resonance is obviously activating because Kyren is within 200 feet of you. Meaning—]
"We could draw his attention to this before things get out of hand," Elian spoke out loud, his eyes lighting up at the same moment that Axel whipped his head backwards.
The Beta squinted. "Head to the window. You're... You're too—"
"Fool!" The witch snarled, clenching his right hand into a fist.
