"Oh, gods." Elian yelped, turning away from the hedge and facing Kyren. His gaze only lingered on his crimson eyes for a second. "That's... That's Axel's voice. Goddess, I knew this was a bad idea."
He trembled—and not just because he was just railed into a hedge—scanning his eyes around for where to hide.
Until...
Kyren's hands slid to his waist, pressing his naked body flush against his, forcing him to maintain eye contact. "Seems you've forgotten who you're talking to."
Suddenly, just when the sound of footsteps drew closer and before Elian could process those words, a flash of red light consumed his vision, causing him to squint.
A weird tingle travelled through his body, his head twirling with a dizziness that made his legs wobble.
But the next second, when he opened his eyes... He was standing in his room.
