Chapter 16 - The Alpha Games

Hogwarts – Gryffindor vs Slytherin – The Match of the Century

The stands shook with roars of excitement. Enchanted banners snapped in the wind, some spelled to flash house colors, others to show slow-motion replays of their favorite players mid-flight.

Gryffindor was leading by ten points.

The sky was iron-grey.The wind whipped like a curse.

And in the announcer's booth, Lee Jordan's voice rang across the field:

"AND HERE COMES POTTER—Wait, where is he—OH BLOODY—"

James Potter had swerved mid-play and was diving straight toward the stands—not after the Snitch, but toward Lillian.

Sitting quietly. Watching Severus fly. Wrapped in green and silver.

The second James landed in front of him, the crowd hushed like someone had cast Silencio over the entire pitch.

"You're mine," he said, breath ragged, Alpha scent flooding the air.

Lillian stood slowly.

"No."

James blinked. "You belong with me."

"No," Lillian repeated, voice calm and slicing. "You don't deserve me."

The air rippled with magic.

And then—

All hell broke loose.

The Stands –

Three more Gryffindor Alphas stood up, scenting the shift in Lillian's magic.Remus. Cormac. Even bloody Dean Thomas.

Their eyes glazed. Teeth bared.

They weren't themselves anymore.

It was the Omega pull. And Lillian was glowing with it—moonlight, wrath, desire.

A howl echoed from above.

Severus.

His broom cut across the sky like a sword, robes billowing, wand drawn.

In a blink, he was off the broom and between Lillian and James.

"He said no."

James bared his teeth. "You don't get to speak for him."

But then—

Lillian stepped forward, pulled Severus down by his collar, and kissed him in front of the whole school.

Ravenclaws gasped.

Hufflepuffs clutched each other.

Slytherins cheered.

And the Alphas?

They lost it.

Remus surged forward, eyes glowing gold.Cormac snarled like a hound.Even James raised his wand—

But Lillian pushed Severus behind him.

"You want me?" he said to the pack, voice dark, shaking. "You'll have to get through me."

Aftermath – Dungeons – 11:49 PM

Blood on Severus's sleeve.Dust in Lillian's hair.Adrenaline still thrumming like a war drum.

They'd run.

Escaped.

Locked themselves in a forgotten classroom deep beneath the Potions corridor.

Now, silence.

Their chests rose and fell.

Fast. Shaky.

And then—Lillian grabbed Severus by the front of his robes and slammed him into the wall.

Hard.

Severus gasped.

"You kissed me in front of the entire school," he rasped.

Lillian stared at him. "So?"

"You really want them all to know you're mine?"

"I want you to know."

Severus swallowed.

The tension burned now. Thick. Electric. Fatal.

His hands ghosted over Lillian's hips—but didn't grip.

"Tell me to stop," he whispered.

Lillian's voice cracked like firewood.

"I won't."

Their lips crashed.

Teeth. Tongue. Need.

The table shook behind them.

Clothes half-ripped.

Wand lights flickering with every moan, every pant, every—

Then—

BANG.

The door flew open.

Lucius Malfoy stood in the doorway.

Eyes glowing.

Voice like venom:

"Did you really think I'd let you go that easily, Severus?"
