Inside the Shop
Dian's smile broadened as he turned to the others. With a playful bow and one arm outstretched, he spoke, "Ladies, may I have your presence here?"
The gesture was dramatic, exaggerated just enough to earn a round of giggles from the group. With soft nods and curious glances, they approached him, their excitement palpable.
Their eyes fell upon the elegant wooden box lined with velvet, filled with the same shimmering pendants. Curiosity sparkled in their eyes.
Dian smiled warmly. "These are for you. A gift—from me to the ones I hold closest to my heart."
His words held weight—sincere and full of affection. Hearts fluttered.
Even Emma, standing with arms folded, felt something stir deep inside. She looked away, murmuring something unintelligible under her breath.
Dian picked up the first pendant. It swayed gently in his hand as he stepped toward Gianna, who stood nearest.
Her pointy ears twitched with excitement, a blissful smile brightening her already radiant face. Dian fastened the necklace around her neck, the crystal settling just above her cleavage.
As it touched her skin, the pendant shimmered, flickering with vibrant hues before settling into a brilliant emerald green glow. Mana pulsed from it, alive and resonating with her aura.
He leaned in close, whispering beside her ear, "How is it, my dear wifey?"
Gianna blushed as his warm breath tickled her skin. Looking into the mirror beside them, her eyes lit up.
"I love it!" she squeaked, then added playfully, "Dear Husband~"
Dian's heart swam in the warmth of her gaze. She raised a hand to gently touch the gem, feeling the mana flowing in harmonious rhythm.
The others watched, their expressions softening with admiration—and a trace of envy.
Next was Suzine.
Dian fastened the pendant around her neck. This one shimmered with icy white hues laced with soft blues—mirroring her silver hair and cool, serene presence.
She turned to him and embraced him tightly, her cheek resting against his chest. "Thank you, Darling~ I'll treasure it."
Dian smiled, resting a hand on her head affectionately.
Emma's brow twitched. She didn't knew why, but they just didn't...
Then Olivia stepped forward, only to pause as her mother, Emily, moved ahead, clearly unable to contain her excitement.
Dian chuckled softly at her enthusiasm. He picked up the third pendant and gently reached around to clasp it.
As he did, Emily's generous curves pressed against him. A small, breathy moan escaped her lips. "Ah~"
Dian caught the sound and smirked knowingly, fighting to keep his composure—and to control the reaction threatening to manifest below his waist.
He glanced at her face—flushed, eyes slightly glazed, breath shallow.
She's… getting aroused? Just from this?
No skill was active. This was natural, he checked.
Emily's mind, too, was a flurry of heat and confusion. Her body hadn't reacted like this in years. But Dian… Dian awakened something raw and untouched within her.
Her eyes drifted to his lips, hunger blooming.
She leaned forward—but was stopped by two firm hands on her shoulders.
"Let me fasten the pendant first," Dian whispered gently. His voice carried more meaning than the words.
She blinked, returning to her senses.
From behind, Suzine and Gianna smiled subtly. Olivia gripped Emma's hand. Emma's golden eyes burned—not with disgust, but something closer to jealousy.
Lena stood frozen, mouth slightly agape.
Emily's heart dropped—then steadied again as Dian whispered, "Don't worry. Focus on this gift of mine for now. My dear~"
Thump. Thump. Thump.
Her heart raced. His voice, his presence—it all washed over her like a wave.
The moment he clasped the pendant around her neck, it lit up in a bright, radiant gold. Emily turned to the mirror, eyes wide.
"W-What do you think, Di– Dear...?"
Dian paused, then smiled. "You're going to kill me with this beauty of yours. You look absolutely stunning."
A maddening smile curved her lips as she stepped back toward the group—only slightly ahead, her chin tilted in pride.
Olivia and Emma stared at her as if wondering if she was still their mother.
"Is she for real..." Emma muttered.
"She is," Olivia replied with a soft sigh.
Then Dian's voice called, "Olivia."
Her breath hitched.
Taking careful steps, she stood before him. Her gaze wavered.
Dian clasped the pendant around her neck with delicate hands, his breath warm near her ear. "So… how is it?"
Olivia looked at her reflection. The pendant glowed with a soft olive green, mirroring her eyes.
A small, pure smile graced her lips. "It's the best reward I've ever received. I love it."
Dian's heart swelled.
Then he turned to Emma.
Her arms folded, eyes narrowed, mouth set in that familiar scowl.
He took a step forward. "Your turn, Emma."
She raised a brow. "I don't need some glittery token."
"I didn't say you did," Dian replied calmly, already unboxing another pendant. "But I want you to have it."
Emma opened her mouth—then closed it. After a long pause, she sighed and stepped forward.
"Fine. But don't think this means anything."
Dian smirked. "Of course not."
He fastened the necklace with swift, firm hands.
The moment it touched her skin, it pulsed with a deep, earthen green light—solid and steady like her.
She caught her reflection and blinked.
"Hmph. Not bad."
Dian leaned in, whispering, "You're welcome, tsundere princess."
Her cheeks flared red. "W-What did you just call me?!"
"Nothing at all."
Snickers erupted from behind her. She turned and glared—but her hand never left the pendant.
Lastly, Dian turned to Lena.
She blinked. "M-Me?"
He smiled. "Of course. You're one of us today."
She trembled slightly. "But I-i'm just a commoner, I-I don't deserve—"
"You do."
He stepped closer. Her breath caught.
As he gently looped the pendant around her neck, her eyes shimmered with unshed tears.
The crystal lit up with a soft silver hue—pure and subtle, like moonlight.
She looked at her reflection and gasped quietly.
"It's… beautiful."
Dian smiled. "Just like you."
Her face turned crimson. "T-Thank you… Dian."
And then the group stood together.
All seven of them.
Each with a pendant glowing uniquely, harmonizing with their mana.
Lork, the manager, stood proudly at the side. "A fine scene. These pendants were meant for you all."
Dian nodded. "Thank you, Lork. You've made today perfect."
The manager bowed. "It was our honor, sir."
And with their hearts full and their pendants glowing, the group stepped out of the store—ready to make more memories.
Taking a step forward, Dian spoke. "Now lets— ."
