I(Suzuki Ryder) was a regular nineteen year old at the time, i was walking back home from my job at the local sushi place, i stepped inside and i turned the tv, my mom texted me to check the news, so i did so turns out a war was breaking between humanity and the Zlorags they were an alien species from a neighbouring planet, and so began the goverment's efforts to get more men into the army, so naturally all males above 18 and all females above 21 could be drafted into the infantry.
3 Months Later...
I was soon drafted into the military, we had to go through vigorous training and wake up at 3 AM as the Zlorags were mainly Nightly creatures. we had 2 months of training before we got sorted into our military groups. I was a slim 6'0 19 year old so there were chances i got sorted into a special task force didnt think much of of it though,as i was least concerned about my group, i am more of a pacifist than someone who wants to fight wars. And soon the day came 24 JULY 2069, and so i was drafted into The Zeta Taskforce my team's leader being Commander burns. I was soon put onto the patroling duty, which was nice to be honest all i had to do was to walk across the border and examine everybody crossing it with a special sound gun which mad a frequencey at such a high pitch which only the Zlorags could hear.
After a couple of months i was replaced by another member of my team.It was a nice change of pace condsidering the fact that i had the same boring routine even after joining the Army. it felt like the war had more HYPE about it than actual threats, but we can never be sure.
