Chapter 4 - THE TITAN

The atmosphere of Cybertron had become a burning furnace, radiating an orange glow. Amongst the rubble of the High Council, Necrotronous stood in the Battlefield, facing against Omegnatron and the primes were watching too..

Onyx Prime: We Should help.

Necrotronous Holds his palm up and shakes his head slowly very Slowly in No.

Omegnatron: You call yourself What ? Titan Father ?? Waste of Metal.A mere fragment of an infinitely falling universe, every bit of matter in it was bound to be dismantled.

He surged forward with his thrusters alight in an unearthly purple hue which literally tore through the ground and his servo lashed out; his shoulder actuators groaning under the pressure of exceeding torque by an astonishing four hundred percent.

His fist met the chest plate of Necrotronous head-on, not making a sound but rather consuming the air, creating a silencing void in itself. A wave of sound radiated out in all directions leveling every spire within a fifty-mile radius. A normal Prime's spark chamber would have been destroyed on contact.

Necrotronous did not budge, not a single millimeter. His chest plates glowing intensely Orange absorbing all of the energy directed at them and turning it into heat, fusing Omegnatron's fist to his chest plate. TheHerald'spost optics widened in disbelief. Logic processors struggling with the fact that this level of resistance was even possible.

Necrotronous moved forward and landed a right hook with the speed of a collapsing star.

The sheer force of his fist crushed the frontal chassis of the Herald's faceplate. Reinforced glass optic popped out with tendrils of fiber optic wire spouting out of it like steam. Internal relays within the Spark Champion's hippoint cracked sending hydraulic fluid spouting out and his limb joints locking in the forward position with high-strength locking pins shearing off and zinging like bullets.

Necrotronous: Voice Down Bug.

Omegnatron was flung at the velocity of light and hurled over a hundred miles, bouncing of Cybertron's surface like a pebble, tearing through metallic debris creating a grand canyon of broken relays and bent girders. He finally crashed to a halt at the bottom of the Sea of Rust with circuits frying and sparks flying everywhere.

He attempted to recharge his Dark Energon systems, but it was quickly absorbed by the Titan Charge, its effects systemic, freezing his nanites from regenerating and reattaching his plating together. TheParticle of Unicron had, for the first time since he was brought into existence, felt the cold, sharp edge of Terror.

Necrotronous didn't walk toward his prey he collapsed space to do so. He brought both his arms up, from each of his hands erupted the Titan Lightning Chains, more like immense ropes of Titan Charge burning millions of degrees. They slammed into Omegnatron, wrapping around his broken neck and limbs causing sparks to erupt from his chest plate as the Titan Lightningfried the Dark Energon within him.

Omegnatron: THIS CAN NOT BE

screams in pure agony as He Gets Lobotomized but kept alive.

The air filled with the scent of ozone and roasted copper as every last bit of internal plating within the Spark Champion melted and slagged. As Omegnatron's spark began to sputter out he surged more power, keeping the Herald alive, flashing welding his crucial components together to keep him from perishing as he dragged his whimpering, broken frame across the planet like a common house pet on a leash back to the Holy Sanctum, mounting him on a display spire.

Necrotronous: It's ironic That you are the reason for your demise, if you had not pushed Megatronus.. wait

Smirks

Necrotronous: Poor Fallen.. chuckles anyways, if You had not Pushed fallen and his prime friends that far, i would never be here in the first place.

Omegnatron (mumbling): I will be free and then I wil-

An Titan Lightning whip Grasps his frame and he starts screaming in agony, he screams till his voice box gives and he again Collapses into a Heap of Defeat.

Now merely an ornamental artifact within the Father's halls! For cycles he kept Omegnatron alive as his personal living trophy of absolute power, but when the people of Cybertron had overcome their initial terror and began demanding a safe existence, Necrotronous finally granted it.He reached out into reality itself and tore open a singularity. And with afinal flick of his wrist he hurled the leashed Omegnatron into the Titan Black Hole, crushing his sub atomic form into an infinitely dark point forever at the mercy of a power he could not comprehend. The reign of the Titan Father continued for cycles upon cycles, living until long after any living Cybertronian could remember, sparking life back to the AllSpark millions of times.

During this time the Titan Charge began to exponentially amplify within Necrotronous' form; it grew so great that its physical mass began to vibrate at an immense frequency that threatened to tear apart the planet itself, becoming an independent evolutionary force.

On one occasion the sky of Cybertron turned an opaque gold, the sheer volume was too much for one being to contain. A blinding light filled the throne room, and with a shriek that was audible across the entire planet, Necrotronous' outer form peeled away and fell to the floor.

From the heart of the light ejected the framework of Megatronus. He hit the floor and inhaled an artificial breath, his optics now a piercing white and filled with an artificial sense of being.

Megatronus: I LIVE ?

The discarded form that he rose from solidified in his wake, a monolithic and separate entity, and Necrotronous now stood alone,

Necrotronous: Pretty Much. You do Live

Chuckles the Other primes were left shocked but they were happy too

An independent deity of orange light and overwhelming power, and he no longer needed his former host.

NECROTRONOUS: Now on, I AM THE TITAN PRIME

It could not have worked out any other way, Megatronus and Necrotronous, so fundamentally the same being, were fundamentally incompatible. They could never be the same, the shadow and the figure that cast the shadow.

The Prime, who reveled in the balance of the life cycle, could never truly agree with Necrotronous, who saw the value in everything else on the spectrum of existence, survival through power above all.

As Cybertron began to rebuild itself, it was inevitable that their diverging paths collided, the rebuilt Primes were faced with an insurmountable political crisis in the form of the new, unstoppable power.

It reached its tipping point when, Necrotronous proposed a system to Put Titan charge in everyone so He could control everyone's body and power This system was the disagreement,

Megatronus: This is too far, I did my fair share of Evil in politics Sometimes, Because i was a situation but you ? And this ? you were there to protect, not to obliterate! You were meant to be my shield., My extension

Necrotronous: I was what you needed, you were simply too afraid to follow! I am evolution, and you are a shadow of the past!

Their inevitable battle began on the upper atmosphere above the Sea of Rust; the Titan Prime against the Prime of Strength. Words meant nothing to either of them.

Necrotronous' punch landed on Megatronus' torso, his very body becoming one with the blow, the impact shaking the very crust of the planet itself, causing Megatronus' metal to splinter under the immense pressure and forcing the warrior down into a mountain of debris that gave him little room to take a stand.

He wasted no time. He thrusted himself upward with incredible speed and struck Necrotronous' jaw with his reinforced fist; sending streams of orange coolant spraying from his opponent's metallic mouth and yet he still showed no pain.

He reached out and grabbed Megatronus' arm by the knee joint and with a violent shriek of stressed metal he twisted, severing all the hydraulic lines within the joint along with every one of the high-strength bolts, forcing internal circuitry to spill out onto his damaged torso.

Megatronus screamed in pain as his arm started to rip off. He kicked himself away with his leg and blasted off from Necrotronous. The fighter thought that using force against a giant like Necrotronous wouldn't work.

Every punch he threw at Necrotronous just broke his knuckles; sparks flew from his damaged shoulder as wires hung loose in space.

Megatronus got hit hard by Necrotronous again. He tried to fight back. It was no use, His arm was almost off. He was, in a lot of pain. Megatronus knew he had to get from Necrotronous. He kicked hard. Moved away.

The cold space air made his damaged shoulder hurt more. Necrotronous was too strong. Megatronus was getting hurt badly. He looked at his arm. Screamed in pain again. It was tearing off. He couldn't do anything.

Megatronus was desperate. In a lot of pain. His torso was mangled and scarred from his numerous failed blows, all he could do was endure the onslaught of Titan power.

Necrotronous let out a laugh that sounded like metal scraping against concrete. He lifted his arms. Summoned the Titan Lightning Chains. This time they were glowing with a black light.

He whipped the Titan Lightning Chains forward. They hit Megatronus right in the torso. The Titan Lightning was so strong that it burned Megatronus armor until it was melted and glowing. The liquid metal ran down his chest like melted candle wax.

The cold air of space was getting through to his core. The Titan Lightning Chains were still wrapped around Megatronus. Necrotronous was using the Titan Lightning Chains to attack Megatronus.

Necrotronous: Your spark is a candle before the sun; give up and exist within my shadow! Like You did For such Eons.

Megatronus remained silent, calculating.

He steer the fight away from Cybertron's surface toward a rift in time, called by the scientist Vector Prime, the Forbidden Timeline Gap.

As he neared it he let Necrotronous grab his throat; his giant fist squeezing the protection of Megatronus' throat plate and sending his spark chamber's output fluctuating. He was failing and had only ten percent of his power left but he was still able to grab an artifact that he had hidden in his arm compartment during his "Super" reign: a temporal anchor.

He rammed the anchor deep into Necrotronous's torso, right into the very source of his Titan Charge.

The immediate reaction was tremendous. The anchor acted like a giant lightning rod and the Forbidden Timeline Gap was unleashed; tendrils of violet energy snaking around the Titan Prime.

Necrotronous was surprised, he struggled against the void's pull; his thrusters wailing against its grip but the anchor held fast. Space itself distorted around them; stars streaked across the sky like white lines.

With his final ounces of power, Megatronus punched the anchor deeper into the Titan's spark chamber. The immense power released by the anchoring of the time rift threw Megatronus back, while Necrotronous was sucked into the rift with him.

A last, static shriek tore through the void before the rift slammed shut and sealed the Titan Father within.

Megatronus plummeted back toward Cybertron's surface and he survived the crash but his reign was over. The "Super" age of the Primes was dead, buried and forgotten within Alpha Trion's archives, the Titan Charge sealed away lest anyone find out that there were powers in the universe greater than any of them.

He drifted through millions of years and faded away never to reappear.

The Next Volume will Come to The Time of 2018.
