Back at the cave, the men were not yet back. The whole cave has been cleaned and the bear had been cut neatly. Su Xiao handed the water to the ballif who was supervising the cooking and went back inside to tidy their space. The surprised ballif was delighted and questioned the water source.
"I don't know where it came from. But it's very clean and non poisonous"
She told him the direction and he immediately assigned people to go fetch the water with all the barrels they had. No longer saying anything, she entered the cave. She borrowed a broom and swept everywhere thoroughly. Then instructed Li Tuo to get the cloth she had taken from the temple which she hid in the cart while Li Gu got three long sticks outside with a specific length.
After he brought the three clothes, she made a small hole in the walls giving them a considerable distance from each other. She made nine holes in total,then with the help of the hole aligned the sticks in it to create a curtain. Satisfied, she tried it twice and it was steady. The brothers stood staring at her in surprise. She remembered how cold the floor would feel and asked them to get many sticks enough to create a raft.
Although they couldn't understand what she needed them for, the boss was always right. So without questions, they went out to fetch them. Su Xiao deliberately used thick clothes as curtains to avoid anyone peeking into their room. After arranging it all, it looked like a three bedroom flat with a kitchen in the modern times. She made three more holes downwards on the floor where the luminous pearl would be kept.
Once the bed was made, it would be kept by the wall side giving space to go outside. Just then, the brothers returned with the sticks and a rope and she got to work. As she fixed it, she taught them too and soon they got the hang of it. The sticks were laid in a vertical position with small holes in it then tied together tightly with a rope making it look like a raft with no space in between them.
In an hour, they had completed the beds. She placed one in their room and covered it with a new quilt. Although a bit hard, it was better than lying on the floor. Then hung an insect repellent satchet by the wall.They moved to the couples room and placed one there with a quilt covering it and she repeated the same action. Speaking of, Bai Ling was in cart with the kids. Su Xiao instructed Li Tuo to go call them and direct the cart inside their allocated space where a place was made for the cart and horses.
The kitchen was laid with grasses and the horses wouldn't feel cold staying there. She hung an insect repellent satchet there too before moving to their room. She made their bed much more large to accommodate the four of them. She added two quilts for the kids and then hung two insect repellent satchet at the two corners before coming out.
"I'm stepping out for a while to get something outside. Sister Bai, once the kids wake up, get their share of food and serve everyone. The room on the outermost belongs to you brothers, the one in the middle is your room with your husband and the inner one belongs to me. Understood?"
"Yes miss. Thank you miss"
"It's alright"
"Will be staying too long outside?"
"Not for long, but I won't have dinner with you so don't wait for me"

"The kids are in the room, when they wake up they will be worried so please reassure them I will be back. Mu Wei should be back soon since it's almost 7"

She made her way outside and walked to the direction of the stream. It was much more colder outside probably due to the fog. She intended to find some oysters and get luminous pearls from them to use as a Torchlight. She wouldn't be able to explain if she suddenly took out a Torchlight so oysters would serve as her alibi. She approached the water bank and looked around, no one in sight so she flashed into her space. She made her way to the pond where she reared clams and oysters and with a single thought harvested hundred of them to shore.
She got a bag and began prying the oyster and taking out the pearls which were more luminous than normal due to her spiritual space nourishment. The ordinary ones were kept aside for the exiles while she took three high grade ones for their rooms. She then dried the oyster to be eaten later after processing it. After organizing the pearls, she took her bathe and ate some vermicelli noodles with orange juice before she flashed out and left.
Returning to the cave, she saw the enormous stone placed beside the entrance and nodded in agreement. It was indeed suitable for the cave entrance. Everyone was arranging their corner when she entered. They stared curiously at her bag but she ignored the stares and walked straight to the chief.
"Miss Su, what have you got for me tonight?"
"You flatter me chief. This are luminous pearl I hunted from oysters in the stream outside. Although not that bright, it should be enough till we leave"
Chief Lu Dan stared at her in shock. This woman hunted pearls and made it seem so casual. Opening the bag, he was dazzled by the pearls inside which was glowing beautifully.
"I don't know know how to thank you Miss Su"
"No need. Just take it as owing me a favor which I will need one day"
"Alright. Whatever you need, just say it. As long as I Lu Dan can afford it, I will give it to you"
"Good"
She gave some ideas on how to arrange it before going to their corner. She opened the curtain and entered and placed the luminous pearl at the location she had dug before and the whole room illuminated immediately.
"Miss you're so powerful"

The praise from the brothers made her laugh before she went to the inner room. The kids were still sleeping probably tired due to everything. She asked Bai Ling about Mu Wei,
"They went to bathe and discuss some things"
"Okay. You can sleep now"
"Goodnight miss"
