Chapter 6 - Chapter 5: Into the Wilderness

Endless mountains stretched like waves across the land. Lush greenery pulsed with life, ancient trees rose like spears, their vast branches shading the sky.

Xin Xiaoqi, shirtless and covered in scratches, lay sleeping on a thick tree branch, a bottle of baijiu in hand and a robe loosely tied below. The rising sun reflected off snowy peaks, lighting up the forest and waking its beasts.

A roar from a distant cliff—deep and earthshaking—startled him awake. He sat up, lost balance, and fell with a thud.

"Damn…"

He stood up groggily, pulled his robe tighter, and looked around in shock.

Where the hell am I? Jurassic Park? he thought, eyeing the massive trees.

Then another roar. He panicked and dove into the bushes.

Suddenly, a rabbit nudged him.

It was huge—dog-sized—but oddly unafraid. He laughed, hungry. "You're dinner."

He lunged, it jumped. Again and again, for almost two kilometers. Just as he was catching his breath, three more "white bulls" emerged—wait, no. Giant rabbits. Blood dripping from their jaws.

"Mother—!"

He turned and bolted.

Reaching a riverside cliff, he spotted a cave and dove in. Catching his breath, he saw a colossal snake by the water—wide as a highway, longer than he could see.

It lowered its horned head toward the river.

Then—a giant eagle swooped in.

The snake snapped up, fangs sinking deep. One strike. Kill.

Only then did Xin Xiaoqi realize: the snake was playing dead.

The snake slithered away, but before it vanished, it looked directly at him. He broke into a cold sweat.

Once it was gone, he stepped out—and saw the eagle had two heads.

Transmigrated? To where? Fantasy world? No cheat, no system, not even a peach...

His stomach growled. He looked at the eagle.

"Well… better than starving. No wildlife laws here."

After hours dragging the corpse, he tried to start a fire—no luck.

"Damn it, I'm gonna starve."

Just then, strange fruits dropped from the sky. He looked up—

A woman floated down, veiled and cloaked, figure flawless.

Xin Xiaoqi's eyes lit up.

A beauty. Finally, some luck.
