Elder Hyun-Joo slammed her palm in the direction from which she heard Dae Han's voice coming from in the pavilion's rubble. Her power exploded out, and a palm print was sent flying towards the rubble.
However, as her attack sent the debris scattering in all directions, Dae Han was nowhere to be found beneath.
Hyun-Joo immediately sent out her Divine Sense to search for him, but not a trace of Dae Han was felt in the area.
He was gone.
Not willing to give up, Hyun-Joo suddenly formed a hand seal and then tapped the white stone around her neck.
With a soft glow, the white stone rose from her chest and started floating to her left.
She instantly spun around to be faced with the crowd of people that had gathered around due to the pavilion's destruction.
She scanned the faces in the crowd, and her gaze met with a middle-aged man's own.
This middle-aged man looked completely ordinary; however, he was noticeably clutching at something around his neck.
