As the cheers subsided, I rose from the VIP seat and walked toward the waiting area for the participants. Rima, confused, quickly followed me along with Lusserina. A few minutes later, we arrived at the waiting area, where many contestants were either awaiting their turn or had already finished.
As I scanned the area, I finally spotted Elise and the others crowding around Lynn, who had just won her first match. Smiles lit up everyone's faces.
