Location: North Atlantic – Nekrom's Mobile Command Sub
The command chamber pulsed with cold light.Screens flickered with world maps, nuclear sites, and encrypted access codes.
Cipher stood beside Nekrom, her expression calm, precise, deadly. Her eyes reflected lines of code like fire dancing on steel.
"He's responding," she said quietly, watching as Dom's vitals stabilized on a holographic feed. "Your neural inhibitors are holding."
Nekrom's distorted voice rolled through the chamber, digital and human at once. "Dominic Toretto… father, leader, weapon. All it takes is the right leverage."
On another screen, Elena appeared restrained, frightened, holding Dom's child. Cipher turned slightly." You're really enjoying this."
Nekrom's face flickered between static and shadow. "You broke him. I'm only using what's left."
Cipher smirked. "Just remember our deal. You get your machine. I get the codes."
Nekrom's reply came with a low hum. "Then send your puppet."
Location: New York City – 14:00 Hours
Engines roared down the streets of Manhattan.Dom's black Charger newly modified, engine tuned with prototype Eteon cores cut through traffic like a missile. Sparks trailed behind each tire, the EMP generator pulsing in the rear compartment.
Ahead, Letty, Hobbs, Tej, and Roman closed in their cars forming a net.
"Eyes on Toretto," Hobbs barked. "No one fires unless absolutely necessary."
Tej scanned his HUD. "He's running a high-frequency jammer. We can't link to his onboard system!"
Roman yelled, "Man, that's not just a Charger that's a damn tank!"
The chase ripped through Times Square tires shrieking, glass shattering as Dom drifted through an intersection. Hobbs slammed his Ram into Dom's flank, forcing him toward an alley.
Letty tried to cut him off from the side."Dom! Stop! Whatever they're doing to you, fight it!"
For a second just one Dom's eyes flickered with conflict. Then they went cold.
He shifted into gear.
BOOM.
An EMP charge detonated from the rear of his Charger a wave of blue light knocking out power for three blocks. The crew's cars died instantly, engines coughing into silence. Lights went dark, alarms stopped, the city froze.
Tej slammed his fists on the wheel. "He just fried everything!"
Hobbs cursed. "He used an EMP bomb… took out our entire grid."
Through the haze, Dom's Charger roared to life the only thing still moving in the dead city.
Letty watched, helpless, as he vanished into the smoke.
"Dom…" she whispered.
Location: CIA Field Command – Minutes Later
Mr. Nobody watched the blackout unfold on the satellite feed, expression unreadable." EMP detonation confirmed. City grid offline. Toretto's gone dark again."
Deckard stood in the back of the room, arms folded." He's not acting alone."
Nobody turned. "You've got something?"
Deckard's tone was clipped, precise. "Cipher's back. And this time, she's teamed up with Nekrom."
Nobody frowned. "That's impossible. Nekrom's "
"Don't finish that sentence," Deckard cut him off. "You and I both know he doesn't stay dead."
He grabbed his phone, stepping away from the monitors.
Location: Private Jet – Over the Baltic Sea
Devon Shaw leaned back in his seat, screens surrounding him as his encrypted call buzzed to life. Deckard's voice came through, urgent and grim.
"Dev, you're not gonna like this. Nekrom's alive and Cipher's working with him. They've got Dom running missions for them, stealing nuclear codes."
Devon's eyes darkened. "That explains the security spikes in Moscow and London. They're going for launch access."
He stood, strapping on his tactical harness. "Where are you?"
"New York. They hit us with an EMP. Dom's gone."
Devon exhaled, cold and measured. "I'm en route to Norway. Nekrom's men are holding Owen. I'm not letting them use my brother as leverage."
Deckard hesitated. "You sure you can handle this alone?"
Devon gave a faint smirk. "I'm never alone."
He looked over his shoulder Raven, Lacy, and Logan were already gearing up. The jet's rear hatch opened to the roar of arctic wind.
Devon's voice dropped to a razor's edge. "You handle Dom. I'll deal with the monster who made him this way."
Location: Nekrom's Submarine Command Center
Cipher and Nekrom watched Dom's escape on the monitors. Cipher smiled. "Your pet project works better than expected."
Nekrom's digital form flickered through static. "He's efficient. Predictable."
Cipher turned to face him. "That's your mistake. Dom's never predictable. He's loyal to a fault."
Nekrom's mechanical eyes glowed red. "Then we'll burn that loyalty out of him."
He gestured to the central display nuclear map grids glowing red.
"With the codes he brings us, the world will belong to no one. Only to control."
Cipher's smile faded slightly. "And if Devon interferes?"
Nekrom's voice echoed like a machine's growl. "Then the last Shaw dies… just like the first one was meant to."
The lights dimmed, systems pulsing to life. Deep in the ocean, Nekrom's sub shifted course toward the Arctic.
