PLAYER CONTRACT
This Agreement is made on this ___ day of ________, 2021, by and between:
Futbol Club Barcelona, S.A.D. (hereinafter referred to as "the Club"),with registered office at Camp Nou, C/ Aristides Maillol, 12, 08028 Barcelona, Spain,
and
Mateo Alexander Nicolás King (hereinafter referred to as "the Player"),holding Spanish nationality, born on //2004.
1. TERM
1.1 The Player shall be contracted to the Club for a period of two (2) years, commencing on the date of signing this Agreement and expiring on the same date in 2027, in accordance with the regulations of the Spanish Football Federation regarding under-18 players.
2. BASE SALARY
2.1 The Club agrees to pay the Player a base salary of €10,000,000 per annum before applicable taxes, payable in 12 equal monthly installments on the 5th day of each month.
3. SIGNING & LOYALTY BONUSES
3.1 The Player shall receive a signing bonus of €2,000,000 upon execution of this Agreement.
3.2 An additional loyalty bonus of €3,000,000 shall be payable upon completion of the full term of this contract.
3.3 A further recognition bonus of €1,000,000 is granted in acknowledgment of the Player's past appearances and contributions to the first team.
4. RELEASE CLAUSE
4.1 The Player's release clause is set at €200,000,000, applicable for both domestic and foreign clubs.
4.2 Should a third party trigger the release clause, the Club shall have first rights of refusal and a period of two (2) weeks to match the offer.
5. PERFORMANCE BONUSES
5.1 Individual Performance:
Goals: €30,000 per goal in any competition.
Goals in domestic finals: €50,000 per goal.
Goals in Champions League finals: €60,000 per goal.
Assists: €10,000 per assist (all competitions).
Hattrick bonus: €50,000 per hat-trick, in addition to individual goal bonuses.
5.2 Team Achievements:
La Liga victory: €100,000
Domestic cup victories: €70,000
Intercontinental/European trophies (Club World Cup, Super Cup): €80,000
Champions League victory: €200,000
5.3 Recognition Bonuses:
Domestic Player of the Week/Month or similar awards: €20,000
UEFA competition recognition awards: €25,000
6. IMAGE RIGHTS
6.1 The Club shall retain 100% of the Player's image rights for use in:
Club kit and merchandise promotions
Club campaigns and commercial videos
Social media content related to the Club or Club sponsors
6.2 The Player shall retain all rights to personal endorsements, subject to Club approval.6.3 The Club guarantees sponsorship participation bonuses totaling up to €500,000 per annum.
7. FIRST-TEAM PERKS
The Player, as a member of the first team, is entitled to:
7.1 A choice of a new Cupra series car annually.
7.2 A fully furnished apartment in Barcelona or Castelldefels, utilities included.
7.3 Private travel allowance up to €15,000 annually for personal trips.
7.4 Private boot seats for family and friends (up to 8 people) for all home matches.
7.5 Full access to first-team training facilities, including nutritionists, fitness coaches, and physiotherapists.
7.6 Club-funded education and training programs supporting youth-to-first-team development.7.7 Full insurance coverage, including medical, dental, and accident insurance for the Player and family.
7.8 Customized kit and boots from Nike, and potential access to luxury partnerships.
7.9 Exclusive access to the Club's sponsor network for private connections and individual awards, supported fully by the Club.
8. GOVERNING LAW
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain. Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Spanish courts and in accordance with FIFA regulations.
9. MISCELLANEOUS
9.1 This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the Club and the Player.
9.2 Any modifications or amendments must be in writing and signed by both parties.
9.3 In case of termination for cause, applicable regulations of La Liga and FIFA shall apply.
