Sarutobi Hiruzen roared as he charged forward, wielding the adamantine staff summoned from Enma.
"Today, the Uchiha will be erased from Konoha!"
Shimura Danzo followed closely behind, weaving hand signs with practiced precision.
"The Uchiha... must be eliminated once and for all!"
Even the frail Utatane Koharu and Mitokado Homura, despite lacking frontline strength, unleashed jutsu in a desperate attempt to strike at Byakuya.
"Pathetic. Trash will always be trash..."
Byakuya's eyes glinted coldly through his Mangekyō Sharingan as he mocked them.
"You think numbers will change anything? Perish."
"Yasaka no Magatama!"
From Susanoo's hand, three massive spinning magatama surged forward like meteors.
"Evade! Now!"
Hiruzen's years of battle experience kicked in as he leapt back, the others narrowly following.
But Byakuya wasn't finished.
With a thunderous crash, Susanoo's hand lunged through the smoke and snatched Danzo mid-air, gripping him like a ragdoll.
"Danzo, watch out!"
Hiruzen's shout came too late.
Danzo struggled wildly in Susanoo's grip, but it was futile.
With a mental command, Byakuya's chakra construct clenched.
"You're no more than a failed relic... Die."
A sickening crack.
Blood burst forth as Danzo's body was crushed to pulp, his spine shattering audibly in the air.
"Danzo!?"
Koharu and Homura stood frozen in disbelief.
Their greatest hope had been annihilated in mere seconds.
"Tch. You put your hopes in weak, half-baked ambitions... And this is what you get."
Byakuya turned coldly to the others.
"Next."
But suddenly—
A distortion rippled through the space behind him.
Out stepped Danzo, completely unharmed.
"Wind Release: Vacuum Bullets!"
A barrage of slicing air bullets slammed into Susanoo's armor, shaking its frame slightly but failing to penetrate.
Byakuya's eyes narrowed.
"...What?"
There was no doubt — he had destroyed Danzo.
Yet here he was.
"Genjutsu? No… not through my Sharingan..."
He saw it. One of the Sharingan embedded in Danzo's arm had dimmed — its power extinguished.
"Izanagi..."
Byakuya's voice turned grim.
"The Uchiha's forbidden jutsu that warps reality itself…"
Danzo smirked, glancing at the now-closed Sharingan.
"Correct. Izanagi allows the user to reject their death — to overwrite fate itself. For the duration of its effect, death is but an illusion."
He looked down at Byakuya arrogantly.
"This is the power of the true Will of Fire. Sacrifice, rebirth, victory. And your end."
"With such a powerful illusion, we can definitely defeat Uchiha Byakuya..."
Sarutobi Hiruzen's eyes widened in shock upon hearing Danzo's declaration.
He hadn't expected Danzo to have mastered such a high-level genjutsu. Yet, that surprise quickly gave way to hope — with a technique like Izanagi, there was a real chance of bringing Byakuya down.
"Sarutobi, Koharu, Homura — cover me!"
"We must finish Uchiha Byakuya today!" Danzo shouted, forming hand seals as he charged forward once more.
"Understood!"
Hiruzen, Utatane Koharu, and Mitokado Homura quickly coordinated their assault to support Danzo's advance.
"It's useless. Trash is still trash..."
"No matter what technique you use, you're all equally worthless before me."
Byakuya's voice was cold and disdainful as he countered their attacks effortlessly, Susanoo roaring to life around him.
Though surprised that Danzo could use Izanagi, the forbidden Uchiha technique that manipulates reality itself, Byakuya still showed no fear.
BOOM!
A massive shockwave echoed across the battlefield as Hiruzen and the others were violently flung back once more.
Susanoo's arm slammed forward again, grabbing Danzo and crushing him into nothingness.
Yet moments later, Danzo's body reformed — unscathed.
"Damn it… he's too powerful…"
"But with Izanagi… he can't kill me," Danzo murmured, his frustration fading into a sinister grin.
"Really?"
"I wonder… how many more times can you cast Izanagi?"
Byakuya's eyes narrowed. He knew exactly how this forbidden technique worked.
Each Sharingan sacrificed for Izanagi granted only one minute of invulnerability — reality itself rewritten to undo death.
Danzo had four Sharingan embedded in his right arm. Two had already been consumed. Only two minutes remained.
Danzo's expression soured. He knew it too.
"Hmph… even so, I'll annihilate your Uchiha clan if it's the last thing I do!" he snarled.
As Byakuya prepared to strike again, a sudden explosion rocked the ground behind them.
BOOOOM!
A monstrous roar tore through the battlefield.
Everyone's attention snapped to the Uchiha compound.
"ROOOAAAR!!!"
A massive chakra beast erupted into view — crimson, snarling, and wreathed in malice.
The Nine-Tails.
"The… Nine-Tailed Fox!? How is that possible?!"
Byakuya's eyes widened in shock.
From the distance, Sarutobi's bitter smile returned.
"Hahaha… It worked. Our plan succeeded…"
"Uchiha Byakuya, your clan will be erased tonight."
