"Ha! I hit the jackpot!" Marcus exclaimed with a smile.
He bent his bow and nocked his arrows again. This time, four arrows flew out simultaneously.
This was the limit that [Split Flight] could currently achieve. Of course, if he could master all the amplitude crystals, he could break this limit and push [Split Flight] to even greater heights.
But for now, this was sufficient. He could fire volley after volley, steadily eliminating all the Chitauri Brutes.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Facing the relentless barrage of arrows, the electricity-covered Chitauri Brutes attempted to dodge, but how could their speed compare to the arrows from the Paris bow?
Amid countless explosive impacts, all the Chitauri Brutes were killed by a combination of electrical current and piercing arrows before they could even approach Marcus. The biological ship beneath them was blown to pieces, its remains floating like a corpse in the vacuum of space.
"An unconventional approach, but I still achieved my goal of destroying the ship!"
This particular Leviathan had suffered far worse than other vessels. Not only was it continuously assaulted by electrical currents, but its entire body had been corroded by toxic arrows. When additional arrows detonated, its form was completely shattered.
After eliminating the biological ship sent against him, Marcus floated in space and turned his attention to the main Chitauri warships.
"I hope you don't disappoint me too much."
As he spoke, Marcus disappeared in a burst of energy, leaving behind only countless beautiful energy butterflies swirling around the portal.
Marcus had transformed from Volt to Titania.
He planned to give the Chitauri forces a special gift—a token of appreciation for the Aya Stars they would soon provide him.
Spectral Light
A Chitauri soldier standing on another biological ship was suddenly lifted by the energy butterflies. The soldier began emitting terrifying heat, drawing in surrounding Chitauri troops.
These additional Chitauri soldiers were irresistibly attracted to the spectral light, walking slowly toward it as if hypnotized.
Every Chitauri that approached was reduced to ash by the scorching temperature. Meanwhile, the Leviathan beneath the light had its armor burned through, its flesh roasted by the unbearable heat.
The intense pain drove the biological ship into a frenzy. It flew erratically, violently colliding with neighboring vessels and completely disrupting the Chitauri formation.
Faced with this situation, the Chitauri commander didn't hesitate. He immediately ordered his forces to destroy the rampaging biological ship carrying the spectral light.
Seeing all Chitauri soldiers turn their weapons on the affected ship, Marcus smiled.
"Don't worry—it's coming for you next."
BOOM!
The moment the frenzied biological ship flew into the heart of the Chitauri armada, Marcus detonated the spectral light. The Leviathan instantly transformed into a brilliant fireball, illuminating the surrounding space.
Every Chitauri soldier nearby was completely vaporized in the explosion.
Using the spectacular blast as cover, Marcus flew directly into the armada, his armor shifting from Titania [Illusion Butterfly Fairy] to Gara [Glass Lady].
The moment he landed on another biological ship, the glass elements in his armor, energized by the spectral light, released an intense flash.
The Chitauri soldiers aboard were blinded by the brilliant radiance—the last light they would ever see.
A long vitrified blade materialized in Marcus's hand. In the instant the Chitauri were blinded, he swung the sword with devastating force.
Slice!
All Chitauri soldiers were cut down instantly, their bodies cleaved in two, drifting apart in the vacuum of space.
Marcus rushed toward more biological ships, arriving at a location where the Chitauri forces were particularly concentrated.
Wide Area Vitrification
Marcus clenched his fists tightly. A molten, ring-shaped glass barrier expanded outward from his position, growing steadily larger.
Wherever the molten glass ring passed, all Chitauri soldiers and the biological ships beneath their feet were transformed into glass sculptures, fused together into a single massive structure.
As the glass ring continued to expand, more and more Chitauri soldiers and vessels were encased in a thick layer of glass, ultimately crystallizing and immobilizing them completely.
"Almost done," Marcus observed with satisfaction, surveying his handiwork.
A massive glass sphere now hung in space, completely separating its interior from the outside.
Inside the glass were countless crystallized Chitauri, while outside remained the portion of the Chitauri army preparing to attack.
Zzzzzzt!
Blue energy beams struck the glass sphere but were uniformly blocked by its surface.
"Don't worry—your turn is coming," Marcus assured the remaining forces.
A giant blade, Gram, appeared in his hand. With a single swing, he shattered the crystallized Chitauri within, then raised his hand to fire several glass shards at the sphere itself.
Shattered Glass
The moment the glass shards struck the sphere, the barrier that had previously withstood energy beams exploded like a bubble.
It transformed into countless razor-sharp glass fragments, spreading outward toward the surrounding Chitauri forces.
This devastating attack covered an enormous area. Most of the remaining Chitauri army was wiped out instantly.
Their tightly packed formation, once a strength, became their undoing. Bodies were torn apart by the glass shards filling space, with no time to retreat or evade.
With just one strike, the once-massive Chitauri armada was utterly defeated.
"Impressive indeed. Worthy of being Warframe that could shatter entire worlds into three parts—truly formidable!"
Marcus was thoroughly satisfied with this armor. With such tremendous destructive capability, it was perfectly suited for large-scale engagements like this one.
Whoosh!
As he reflected, a blue energy beam shot toward him.
Glass Storm
The vitreous material covering Marcus's body exploded, transforming into countless fragments surrounding him. The incoming beam struck this defensive cloud and scattered, failing to penetrate even his energy shield.
Seeing that these remaining Chitauri soldiers still wished to attack him, Marcus gently raised a finger and pointed at them.
Spectral Rage
All the energy in his body was channeled outward, creating a massive rotating mirror that surrounded what remained of the Chitauri forces.
"You can play with these mirrors while I extract some Aya Stars."
With a sudden leap, he sprang from the crystallized biological ship, instantly transforming back into Titania [Illusion Butterfly Fairy] and flying toward the main Chitauri warship.
Trapped by the Spectral Rage, the remnants of the Chitauri forces were fully occupied—though they would eventually pay the price for their continued resistance.
Aboard the Chitauri command ship, the commander stared in dismay at the enormous mirrors surrounding his troops.
Loki had never mentioned this strange warrior. This single combatant was more powerful than any planetary defender the commander had ever encountered.
But he would not surrender. As a follower of Thanos, the Chitauri must prove their worth.
"Fire! Shatter those mirrors!"
The naval guns of all remaining battleships activated in sequence, energy rapidly gathering at their muzzles.
BOOM!!!
Multiple energy cannons fired simultaneously, bombarding the massive mirrors. Many of the reflective surfaces shattered under the barrage.
