Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: Quick Kicks, Fiery Game

Even without being able to find an opening, Chun-Li strongly believed that if there isn't one, you just have to create it.

Assuming a fighting stance five meters away from him, with her left arm curved upward with an open hand while her right arm was bent below her breasts.

Her left leg, in tight black pantyhose that highlighted her well-built thick thigh and well-toned calf, was positioned forward on the tip of her toe. Meanwhile, her right leg was bent and curved to the right, also on the tip of her toe, but slightly lower.

"Yahhh!"

At the sound of her spirited shout activating the 'Fury' ability, Chun-Li immediately shouted: "Hyakuretsukyaku!"

Her right foot bent and she stood upright facing Caleb, while her left foot went into the air, kicking faster than a bullet from a common pistol.

"Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang...!"

In just one second, she kicked in Caleb's direction a total of 28 times.

Using 'Sage' and Observation Haki, Caleb narrowly dodged with a head movement.

When Chun-Li's attacking foot touched the ground, she wasn't surprised that Caleb dodged—she knew hitting him wouldn't be easy—but rather, she was shocked because her personal record for kicks in one second was 18, and now, she had broken that record with even stronger kicks.

But she was just getting started. With a look full of fighting spirit, she took a vertical stance again, now with her left foot as support: "Hyakuretsukyaku!"

29x "Bang...!"

Caleb felt like he was trapped in the Matrix, dodging bullets.

Chun-Li's kicks were like powerful jabs from a supernatural world boxer.

Worse yet, not all the kicks were high—they were divided into high, medium, and low kicks.

"Hey-ahh!"

"Hyakuretsukyaku!"

31x "Bang...!"

This time, her foot barely touched the ground before she attacked again.

His coat was hit while he dodged, and a loud "Bang" echoed.

Caleb retreated, putting distance between them.

"That didn't count. It was my clothes that got hit," Caleb said.

"I know, but... You're not going to escape from me, Caleb-sama~" she said teasingly, leaping forward while spinning in the air, then using her hands on the ground to propel herself even higher into the air, and then, vertically, she came down with her left foot from top to bottom.

"Hazanshu!"

When her foot came down, it was as if she were using Water Breathing, with her foot surrounded by blue-colored Haki; fast and powerful.

Caleb dodged to the left, but Chun-Li had anticipated this and, still in the air, changed her trajectory, attacking toward his head with her left foot.

"Bang!"

The impact was heavy—like getting hit with a 100-kilo sledgehammer, or worse.

Caleb felt dizzy. However, when he opened his eyes, he was surprised to see that she was still in the air, attacking him again with the same heel that had just hit him hard enough to daze him.

"Haaah!"

He didn't have time to think much, knowing he had to act fast, and instead of retreating to the left, he whispered softly, "Thunder Breathing," with lips parted, revealing tightly clenched white teeth, and gray steam came out like a kettle of boiling water.

"Whoosh!"

Soon, his body was surrounded by blue lightning, and he slid backward at an abnormal speed.

In an instant, he was in front of her—now, he had already created a distance of over five meters, almost hitting the edge of the ship's space.

When Chun-Li's foot touched the ground, she didn't attack again—she stood there, staring at Caleb in shock.

"That was..."

"Thunder Breathing," Caleb replied as steam came from the corner of his mouth and the lightning stopped crackling around his body.

"That's unfair!" she protested.

"There's nothing unfair about it. I'm still following your rule of only dodging," Caleb replied with his arms open and a cheerful smile on his face. "You never said I couldn't use my 'Thunder Breathing' ability to begin with."

"You have a point." Chun-Li stopped speaking, then slid her foot along the ground: "Hyahhh!"

In an instant, she appeared in front of him.

Her footwork was no joke. It was even better than the footwork of 'Kuro of a Hundred Plans'.

"Hyakuretsukyaku!"

32x "Bang...!"

When she attacked him, Caleb backed away while dodging.

However, he soon hit the railing behind him.

"Thunder Breathing..." he murmured.

"You won't escape!" she shouted, attacking before her foot even touched the ground: "Hyakuretsukyaku!"

26x "Bang...!"

A total of 58 rapid kicks fired in Caleb's direction.

Each kick packed explosive power.

However, when Caleb was surrounded by lightning and steam came out of his mouth, like a ghost, he vanished from where he stood.

Chun-Li widened her eyes, in disbelief, as she tried to track Caleb's lightning-fast movement.

Only when she turned around did she see Caleb, surrounded by blue lightning and steam escaping through the gaps between his clenched teeth.

'How did he do that?' she wondered in doubt.

He had moved so fast that she couldn't see his actions.

Still, she wasn't going to give up so easily!

"I didn't want to use this yet..." she murmured.

"Hooooh!"

At her shout, thunderous sounds of lightning exploded, and what had previously been "Ki" now manifested as "Haki," surrounding her like a blue aura.

Her left leg was in the air, bent with her heel almost touching her thigh, while her knees were at the height of her breasts.

"It's time to go!"

"Senretsukyaku!"

"Whoosh!"

Her Haki came in a blue hue that surrounded her foot.

When she shouted "Senretsukyaku," Chun-Li reached Caleb, leaving afterimages behind, and then her foot attacked in Caleb's direction like a machine gun.

"Bang! Bang! Bang...!"

It was a total of 42 consecutive thrusting kicks.

Caleb, who was using "Thunder Breathing," narrowly managed to dodge.

However, at the end of the last kick, she spun in the air with her feet like a pinwheel.

"Hahhh!"

Her left foot went toward Caleb's head with the heel while she was still in the air.

When she saw him retreating, still dodging her, Chun-Li panted slightly as she landed her foot on the ground.

Even though not much time had passed, she was demanding a lot from her own body.

The "Fury" ability was very good, but it also made her get tired twice as fast, maybe even three times.

Looking at him, almost with fire in her eyes, Chun-Li said: "Damn... I'm not done with you yet!"

With steam coming out of his mouth, Caleb let out a hot breath, then opened his mouth to say: "That last one was close."

Chun-Li's eyes narrowed at that comment.

It was hard to tell if she was happy or not to hear that.

"Take this!"

"Hahhhhh!"

Gathering Haki in her hands, she formed an energy sphere.

'She can even use that?' Caleb thought, surprised.

"Kikoken!"

With her feet bent, she extended both open hands forward, simulating a dragon's mouth, and a projectile of blue Haki was fired in Caleb's direction.

Again, steam came out of Caleb's mouth, but Chun-Li's attack was heading toward the cabin.

When he saw her smile, Caleb understood.

'She planned this!'

If he dodged, her attack would hit the cabin, and it was hard to say what would be destroyed in the process.

After calculating his options with the help of the Sage, he had an idea.

"Thunder Breathing... First Form: Thunderclap and Flash."

Assuming the stance of drawing a sword, when he released the sword from the sheath with his thumb, with a quick draw while steam escaped his mouth, lightning crackled around him and the sword.

When he moved, he appeared behind Chun-Li, returning the sword to its sheath.

"Boom!"

"Kyahh!"

Chun-Li's attack exploded in the air after being cut in two.

Meanwhile, Chun-Li herself nearly fell—not because of the impact, but because she was caught off guard by it.

"Don't say I'm cheating," Caleb said behind her. "After all..."

She turned toward him, interrupting: "Yeah, yeah, no one ever said you couldn't do that, tsk, annoying..." she muttered at the end.

Still, she didn't want to give up.

She took a fighting stance again.

Soon, the game of cat and mouse continued. While Chun-Li tried to land a hit on Caleb, Caleb kept managing to slip away like a ghost.

In the "audience," Saeko and Harribel continued watching with interest.

Even for Harribel, it was interesting to watch.

"She's going to lose," Harribel commented, with only 53 seconds left.

"Seems like it," Saeko agreed with a calm smile.

"But it's undeniable that Chun-Li has become stronger," Harribel commented.

"Yes," Saeko agreed.

Seconds later, with a smile, Caleb said: "Time's up~"

"Damn it..." Chun-Li, dripping with sweat, cursed under her breath.

She looked at Caleb, who now smiled at her, and sighed.

"I'm all sweaty, I'm going to shower." Without waiting for him to say anything, she turned and walked away.

Caleb didn't try to stop her.

Unlike her, he wasn't tired. Even though she managed to corner him many times, his stamina was on another level.
