Everything was blank. Indra couldn't feel himself...A dark black figure appeared before him similar to what he saw back at 'Silent Paradise ' but this time it was not a female figure...it didn't had any fix shape...it slowly started to approach him.....
" Wake up!...Wake up! ...WAKE.... UP...INDRA !" a voice slowly echoed in his ear....
And suddenly he opened his eyes...his vision was blurry but slowly it started to get clear and he found Hakai covered in bandages in the bed few metres away from him....
Then he touched himself and took a look at various parts of his body and he too was covered in bandages....
Then he looked around...it was a small room
, its walls made of wooden planks , a wooden chair was there near his bed and between their beds was a small stool on which strange pills and bottles were put on a tray... besides tray there were bandages and clothes with deep reddish stains...
" You okay? It seemed you were having a nightmare so I woke you up.." said Hakai in his calm slow voice...
" Yeah..but...but where are we?... Didn't we jumped off that cliff?" asked Indra with a confused face....
"What are you talking about ?...we jumped off that cliff that is why you are here..." answered Hakai...
"Can you be more clear? I thought you were ending your life...." said Indra in irritation....
" Ending my life?... Hmmm.. Huhhh.. Haaa. Haa..Haaaaa..Haaaa..Huhh...HaaaaaHaaaHaaa" Hakai laughed loudly..,his eyes filled with tears in joy...
" Jumping from there was a precondition to take entery here ...And...if an outsider would try to enter here he would die in an instant by falling..that is why...I held you and jumped with you...by doing that you were allowed to enter here..." said Hakai still trying to control his laughter...
" You...Why didn't you told me that earlier.. You did that on purpose...You were acting the whole time...It was not funny..." complaint Indra looking at Hakai in anger...
" Cool down...you will open your wounds ..But I never said I was doing that..."
replied Hakai still smiling looking at Indra..
" What about Kota?...hugging and telling him your final words...What excuse do you have for that?.." asked Indra exhaling a deep breath from his mouth...
" That was...because we both always jump together, he could have gotten sad that is why I was comforting him " replied Hakai
" What kind of logic was that?..Huhhh..." sighed Indra...
"Okay.. okay.. my mistake....don't be mad....I accept I did a little overacting there....I did it to lighten the mood since the pain was unbearable....." said Hakai
"Lighten the mood... Don't ever try something like that again...you have a very bad timing for jokes...." said Indra in irritation...
" I got it...you can do something like that with me...then we will be equal...." said Hakai giving a wide smile and scratching his head...
" Yaare..Yaare...Both of you still have energy left to argue " said a man who had entered the room when both of them were busy arguing..
He was around 24 years old, he had narrow sharp eyes, light pink lips, medium long black hairs and was wearing a black cotton headband over his forehead, he also wore round black stud earrings...
In upper body he wore a plain black full sleeve tshirt and silvery white gloves over his hands. Below he had wore a black plain full pant, black leather shoes and a darker black shiny leather belt around his waist..
Outside it, he wore a shiny long black leather coat, the coat was long enough to reach just few centimetres above his ankles...
He pulled the wooden chair and sat on it crossing his legs, right leg over the left.
Then he put the black cap he was holding in his hand over his right lap...
" I am KAI , the head of 'Internal Security Council '. We are responsible for handling the threats that may harm the people residing here..so...I have some questions for you...." said the man looking directly into Indra's eyes...
" We are still recovering so if you could wait a little more time for your interrogation..." requested Hakai...
"Really I thought you both were energetic enough.. ...Yaare...Yaare...Hummmm...okay...besides you will be asked questions in front of the TRISHOOLS....so no need to hurry about it...What about your name boy?..I think at least you can answer that right now.." said Kai looking at Hakai.....
" I am Indra .... But....Who are the TRISHOOLS ? asked Indra as he wiped the sweat from his forehead using the bandages of his left hand ....
" You will know when you will meet them..." replied Kai
" Hakai you are the only one who came back alive from the Silent Paradise so there are questions ready for you too...But...above all you have brought an outsider here....If he turned out to be a threat...be ready...you will meet a terrible faith...even worse than this outsider ...you know it very well we don't compromise the security of our people" said Kai in his fierce voice
" I trust him and I will take his responsibility ...but...if by any means he turns out to be a danger for the people...I am ready for any cruel punishment..." said Hakai his eyes filled with confidence...
" Why is it suddenly so hot..?.. uffffffff " sighed Hakai as his face was covered with tiny droplets of sweat....
" What about a walk outside?...it will help you both get refresh and recover fast....But be close to me boy...if you tried to slide your way away from me...you will be killed in an instant..." said Kai smiling looking at Indra...
Kai stood up wearing his cap over his head and walked towards the door...Indra and Hakai also left the bed and followed him...they both still felt a light pain in their muscles...but Indra was impressed with the quality of treatment...he was able to walk even after sustaining those injuries in his legs...
As Indra took his step outside the door...a soft cool wind welcomed him..it was evening and reddish orange colour dispersed in the sky brought comfort to Indra's eyes...a nostalgic noise filled his ear that unknowingly made him emotional ....the noise of people chatting and gossiping....the noise of children playing and the noise of busy streets ... he wanted to cry but he held back his tears..he didn't want to look weak...
As they were following him Indra asked Kai," When will I be taken to the TRISHOOLS?.."
" If you were one of the residents here, you would have been given two or three weeks but since you are a 'MAVERICK ' you won't get that privilege...You will be presented tomorrow before them..." replied Kai..
"'MAVERICK' ??"
