Aiden hovered above Selvara, his white hair a halo in the dim light of the chamber. His blue eyes, usually sharp and commanding, softened as they traced the elegant curve of her obsidian horns, the intricate tattoos that danced across her forehead and cheeks.
Her pale skin, luminous even in sleep, seemed to invite his touch. He noted the gentle rise and fall of her huge breasts beneath the thin sheet, the generous swell of her hips.
Her dark, powerful wings, usually spread wide, now lay folded, a protective cloak around her. He leaned in, his breath warm against her lips.
A soft brush, a feather-light touch. Her white eyes fluttered open, slit pupils slowly adjusting to the dimness.
"Now you remember me?" Her voice, a low rumble, held a hint of playful challenge.
