Two men
Equal they share
The life by God's presence
In a garden unfair
With peacocks they relish
Under sycamore trees
Irritated from grass
And stung by bees
They live and flourish
Under adams gise
Enduring the consequence
Of a sin so unwise
Abel succeeds
His words are exchanged
From the soil to sky
One man
Uneven they lie
A life by cains whims
That is how it goes
And the way that has always been
Cain recedes
Behind twitching lambs
Quiet and rotting
From the pasture to the grave
A brother pleads for the mercy
fit for a twin
The younger prays on his knees
To forgive this brother
Ridden in fleas
He insists the sake of purity
His sibling is good
But unaware of blessings
The reason of wasting blood
God hears him
And knows the disease
Sin cannot be eradicated
By such pleas
For in the end
neither shall win
And abandanoned by God
This ignorant kin
He lured his brother
With an insecure smile
And thought to himself
How it was to herd a sheep
The devil whispered
Faint in his ear
As he found a stone
Face empty of tears
Slaughtered by his other half
In passionate rage
The veal of an innocent calf
Inferiority shaking his cage
It locked him there
Inside his own mind
Now he is nowhere
But left behind
His impurity consumed him
Taking hideous flight
Now Abel lie in sage
Cains sobs are silent in the night
Such is the way of sin
The first to shed blood
All in the lords name
The first to cease breath
He no longer saw the rise or fall of Abel's breast
All in pitiful vain
Were the acts of cain
