Episode 3
"What do you mean they're back? Didn't we kill them?"
"Khawar, are you truly insane or just pretending to be?" Ibrahim snapped.
"What did I say wrong now?" Khawar replied.
"We only killed those who were hunting in this city.
We don't know about the others. If they were here, they could be elsewhere too—maybe they have descendants or offspring now.
Because the method of killing is exactly the same."
"We have to stop all this as soon as possible, otherwise they will keep killing people," Ibrahim said seriously.
"Sir, your daughter has regained consciousness," a nurse informed Ibrahim.
"My daughter!" Ibrahim rushed to the room.
Upon seeing him, Natasha burst into tears.
"Enough, sweetheart, please don't cry. You are my strong daughter."
Natasha was trembling badly.
"Dad…who was she? And who did that to her?"
"Don't worry, darling. Don't think about it too much."
"Dad, the seniors sent me to the upper floor through ragging.
I don't want to go to college again. Everyone is so mean."
"Okay, dear. Be quiet now; it's not good for your health."
"Please ask them why they sent me upstairs," Natasha pleaded.
"Don't worry, I will ask very thoroughly," Ibrahim's dark eyes flashed.
"Dad, I want to go home. I'm scared here."
"Okay, I'll ask the doctor about your medication and diet," Ibrahim replied.
Ibrahim and Khawar brought Natasha back home.
After settling her into her room, Ibrahim ordered soup for her.
"Come on, drink this quickly," he said.
Tears welled up in Natasha's blue eyes.
"You're the best, Dad. You take such good care of me.
Please never leave me alone." Ibrahim's heart sank.
"Never, sweetheart."
"Now rest. I'm right here with you."
Natasha fell asleep peacefully.
Ibrahim quietly closed the door and stepped outside.
Khawar was waiting.
"Is she asleep?" Khawar asked.
"Yes."
They went to the terrace with tea.
Khawar noticed the sorrow and seriousness on Ibrahim's face.
Then they both drifted into memories from 21 years ago…
---
Ibrahim was the only child of his parents.
He was extremely handsome—girls would lose their hearts to him.
With striking black eyes, gray hair falling over his forehead, and a well-groomed beard, he looked dashing.
Despite his looks and wealth, he was humble and never indulged in wrongdoings.
He had no interest in girls either. His engagement had been fixed in childhood with his cousin Sanam, his maternal aunt's daughter.
Sanam's parents had died in a car accident, and she had lived with Ibrahim's family since.
She was average in looks, but Ibrahim loved her dearly from the beginning.
Sanam, on the other hand, was not interested in him.
She was full of arrogance and only cared about his wealth.
Despite this, Ibrahim loved her selflessly.
His parents, Rameez and Lubna, also loved Sanam.
Eventually, they got married.
Initially, Sanam behaved well, but slowly, she started getting annoyed with Ibrahim and became rude.
Ibrahim, thinking it was just her immaturity, ignored it.
One day, his parents planned a trip to a forest for two days—
for camping and BBQ.
Ibrahim liked the idea and went to tell Sanam.
As he approached her room, he froze at the door.
Sanam was on a call.
"Why don't you understand? How can I get a divorce so quickly?"
"No, it's not like that. I've hated him since the start.
I've rejected him a thousand times, but he's stubborn.
Don't worry. I'll divorce him soon and marry you."
Ibrahim couldn't listen anymore.
He walked away silently, not wanting to ruin his parents' happiness.
He quietly got ready for the trip.
In the car, he was silent and serious.
Sanam noticed.
"Why are you so quiet, Ibrahim?" his mother asked.
"Nothing, Mom. Just not feeling well," he replied.
Soon, they entered the dense forest, where sunlight barely reached.
They got off and found a suitable spot to camp.
After setting up the tent and fire, they ate together.
Ibrahim watched Sanam sadly while she chatted on her phone, oblivious to everything.
After dinner, everyone went to explore the forest—except Sanam, who stayed behind to talk to her boyfriend.
Darkness fell.
Suddenly, Ibrahim's mom tripped over something hard.
They looked down and screamed—it was human skulls scattered on the ground.
"Something's wrong with this place," Lubna said nervously.
"Let's go back. Sanam is alone at the camp."
They rushed back—but Sanam was missing.
Panic set in.
They searched and called out her name.
Suddenly, Lubna spotted her scarf near the bushes.
All three ran there—
and found Sanam's headless body, her skin completely pale.
Lubna fainted.
Ibrahim felt pain, but no sorrow.
He revived his mother with his father's help.
"We need to leave immediately."
"What happened? Who did this? Why would anyone kill Sanam?" Lubna sobbed.
"What's done is done. We must leave," Ibrahim said firmly.
"What about her body?"
"We can't take her in the car.
We have no tools to bury her either.
We'll have to leave her," Ibrahim said coldly.
As they tried to leave, the car wouldn't start.
Ibrahim got out and checked—the car had been tampered with.
"Dad, someone broke the car.
We're not going to survive," Lubna cried.
"Please calm down, Mom. Nothing will happen."
Then they heard footsteps in the bushes.
"Who's there?" Ibrahim shouted.
Two tall men emerged—
they looked normal at first.
"What are you doing here? This place is dangerous," one said.
"What danger?" Rameez asked.
"No one who comes here returns." The other laughed sinisterly.
"What do you mean?" Ibrahim asked angrily.
"Show him," the second man smirked.
In an instant, they transformed into black demons—
with long fangs emerging from their mouths.
Lubna screamed.
Before Ibrahim and Rameez could react,
one of the vampires grabbed Rameez's neck and ripped it off.
He drank his blood and threw the head to the second one,
who devoured it and tossed away the blood-soaked skull.
Lubna was terrified seeing her husband like that.
Ibrahim went mad with rage but knew he stood no chance.
His mother met the same fate.
Seeing both parents die in front of him, Ibrahim gave up.
But just as a vampire lunged at him—
two huge wolves appeared and attacked the vampires.
One vampire bent over Ibrahim,
but a wolf leapt and accidentally bit Ibrahim's arm.
The wolves fought fiercely, injuring the vampires, who fled.
The wolves stared at Ibrahim, then left.
It was Ibrahim's first time seeing such massive, wild wolves.
Pain from his wounded arm was unbearable.
He fainted.
Two people emerged from the bushes and took him with them.
---
Natasha's scream brought Ibrahim back to the present.
He rushed to her room.
She was screaming in her sleep.
Khawar gave her an injection, and she calmed down.
They stepped out.
"We need to find and finish them—fast," Khawar said.
In the pitch-black forest,
the roars of two wolves echoed far and wide—
then vanished into the darkness like lightning.
