Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: Sakura High School

**Sakura High School - Classroom 2A**

The morning sun streams through the windows of Classroom 2A, casting a warm glow over the bustling room. Students chatter excitedly, eager to share stories of their weekend adventures.

Yui walks in, her long, curly brown hair bouncing with each step, and her bright smile lighting up the room. Her big brown eyes sparkle behind trendy glasses perched on the end of her nose. She wears a cute school uniform with a white blouse and a plaid skirt, looking adorable.

She takes her seat near the window, and her girlfriends quickly gather around her:

"Yui, oh my gosh, how was your weekend?" asks Erika, a curious classmate with curly brown hair.

Yui smiles casually, "It was good."

Naomi chimes in, "We had the best sleepover at my place on Saturday!

Did you watch the new episode of 'Love Story'?"

The girls launch into a lively discussion about their favorite TV dramas, crushes, and weekend plans.

Just then, the classroom door swings open and the boys walk in, chatting loudly:

"Dude, yesterday's Guild War event was INSANE!" Taro exclaims to Kenji.

Kenji nods vigorously, "I know, right? Royal Knight'z crushed everyone again!

Their strategies were pure genius!"

The girls barely notice the boys' entrance, still engaged in their conversation:

Erika says, "I'm totally shipping the lead actor with his co-star!"

Yui smiles and nods politely, but her attention starts to drift towards the boys' discussion...

Taro continues, "I've never seen any guild dominate Conquer Online like Royal Knight'z does.

Do you think they'll win the entire tournament?"

Yui's heart skips a beat at the mention of Royal Knight'z, her eyes fixed discreetly on the boys' conversation...

Kenji responds with excitement about Royal Knight'z:

"I know, right? Their teamwork is insane! I've heard rumors about their members...

Hey, isn't one of them named Yui?"

Taro points towards Yui, and the boys' eyes land on her:

"Wait, could THAT Yui be...?"

The boys stare at Yui intensely, but she pretends obliviousness, focusing on her girlfriends' conversation:

Erika says, "...and then he confessed his love in the most romantic way!"

Yui nods and smiles, acting fully engaged.

One of the boys, Kenji's friend, Ryu, speaks up:

"Nah, impossible. She's too normal to be into that intense gaming stuff.

She might not even know what a gaming mouse looks like in her entire life."

Yui's expression twitches slightly, her eyes narrowing almost imperceptibly before she regains her neutral face.

The girls notice her brief pause and ask:

"Yui, what's wrong? You spaced out for a sec!" Naomi asks curiously.

Yui forces a laugh and says:

"Oh, nothing... just thought of something my brother said yesterday.

He's being really annoying lately..."

The girls launch into a discussion about annoying siblings, unaware of the intense gaze still coming from the boys' direction...

The teacher walks in, writing on the blackboard:

"Today's topic: Japanese Literature History..."

The class remains silent, except for the boys' subtle discussion:

Ryu leans over to Taro and whispers:

"Dude, Royal Knight'z's 'Lyn' is insane with that giant scythe..."

Taro nods vigorously:

"I know, right? Scythe users usually get destroyed in PvP because of the slow swing speed...

But she maintains flawless combos like it's a dagger or sword!"

Kenji joins in quietly:

"And her attacks never seem to leave openings – how does she even control it?"

The boys exchange impressed glances, unaware of Lyn's actual character stats.

Yui sits calmly beside her friends, pencil moving across her notebook...

Her eyes cast downward, hiding the hint of a smile and intense interest in their conversation...

The boys continue discussing Lyn's impressive gameplay:

Taro says, "And have you seen her tactic where she lures enemies to the pillar with daggers?"

Ryu nods, "Yes, she hits the pillar, and they swarm her – but take only 1 damage!"

Kenji adds, "It's like she's invincible in that spot. I've tried replicating it...

But my character just dies instantly."

Other guys in the group chime in:

"I've tried too – same result, dead in seconds..."

One of them whispers suspiciously:

"Do you think Lyn uses cheats or hacks?"

But Taro and Ryu immediately defend against that idea:

"We actually reported it to the Game Masters (GM) after last week's match..."

Ryu continues, "...and they replied: 'No cheat detected during that game.

Player skills and map knowledge suspected.'"

Kenji nods vigorously:

"Exactly – which makes her skills even more mind-blowing..."

The boys glance around the room, still engaged in their intense discussion...

Yui's eyes remain cast downward, pencil still moving across her notebook – but her interest in their conversation is palpable...

Yui whispers to herself, a soft smile on her face:

"My big brother is truly amazing..."

Just then:

The teacher asks the class a question:

"Class, what is the main theme of 'The Tale of Genji'?"

The boys in the back look confused, still distracted by their Royal Knight'z discussion:

Taro and Ryu exchange blank stares, clearly unaware of the lesson topic.

The teacher calls on them, but they stumble over their words:

"Umm... was it... about... samurai?"

The class giggles at their incorrect answer.

Then, the teacher calls on Yui:

"Yui, can you tell us the correct answer?"

Yui looks up, pencil still in hand, and answers clearly:

"'The Tale of Genji' explores the theme of love, social class, and morality in medieval Japanese aristocracy."

The teacher smiles, satisfied:

"Exactly right, Yui! Well done."

The class erupts in impressed murmurs

"Wow, Yui's always so smart..."

"Does she ever get anything wrong?"

Naomi leans over to Yui and whispers:

"Girl, you're like a walking encyclopedia!"

Yui blushes slightly, looking pleased but humble.

The boys in the back, including Taro and Ryu, stare at Yui with newfound interest:

"Wait, THAT Yui is the smart one in class?" Taro whispers to Ryu.

Ryu nods slowly:

"And we were just discussing Royal Knight'z's 'Yui'...

This is getting weirdly coincidental..."

The teacher continues the lesson, unaware of the subtle intrigue unfolding among the students...

The boys start discreetly observing Yui during class, curiosity piqued:

They glance over at her, taking in her focused expression as she listens to the teacher.

Yui notices the boys staring and wonders what's behind their interest:

For a brief moment, Yui's eyes flicker towards the boys, sensing their gaze.

But she quickly returns her attention to the teacher, expression neutral, as if unaware of the subtle admiration.

The boys continue their quiet discussion:

Taro whispers, "Not only is she smart, but she's also really beautiful..."

Ryu nods agreement, "I know, right? Those big brown eyes behind glasses are adorable..."

Kenji adds, "And her hair – it's like curly chocolate..."

Their soft voices remain undetect

The boys continue their quiet discussion:

Kenji whispers, "I've never seen her talk to anyone about games though... wonder if she's really THE Yui..."

Taro nods thoughtfully, "We should try to talk to her after class..."

Just then:

**The bell rings, signaling the end of class!**

Students erupt into chatter and applause, relieved the lesson is over.

Yui packs up her belongings, still unaware of the boys' admiration and speculation about her gaming identity.

Naomi grabs Yui's arm, "Want to grab lunch together in the cafeteria?"

Yui smiles, "Yeah, I'm starving!"

As they walk out with their friends, the boys linger behind, watching Yui leave.
